    I'll be in Ecuador, I put something up in the natural disasters thread, but that's not a very frequented thread. Doing medical mission work for victims of the quake and other underserved areas, using a cloud based EMR, and no Internet or phone, very little running water and only 2-3 hours of electricity per night, generator based. El Salvador, Ecuador.... Tomato tomaato I am very excited about this, but if the draft falls during the time I'm gone, I will still be sad.

    I do Worry about Ennis and his long term health, his size plus concussion =worry some, and girgs maybe had a down year (hopefully), looking at what we have and in *speculation* talks those 2 seem to be thrown out a lot, I mean we are not trading jack, risto or Samson. I just don't know if we have anything we could part with that wouldn't have us up in arms, it's rare to make good hockey trades these days. As for #8,i would love to try and trade up as far as possible, but paragraph 1 throws a monkey wrench into that idea, as we would need to give up a great prospect to get a new one. I doubt a combo of picks plus those mentioned moves us up. I still think we need to splash somehow this off-season to make a push for playoffs, I think we are close but we can't stand pat and expect aggressively different results.

    I want to see us trade up, talk with winnipeg or Columbus, I'm OK with trading #8 plus for a sure fire NHL player.

    Are we keeping each other warm in the cold Canadian winters, or looking for berries to survive, we could find some dingle berries on Mr. Bettman, but they're kinda sh1tty ;) The third got marginally better, but not much, aren't the games supposed to get better as the rounds progress? Shes got the bedroom eyes, and I may or may not have my pants off....

    The thing that sucks is that Ennis and girgs are at an all time low for trade value and yes, we have a lot of picks, but what does a bunch of 3rd round picks get you? Psysk is a nice piece to dangle, but we need Dmen, and he's not a centerpiece. I am a tad concerned that we won't be able to make a large splash this off-season and drafting 8th may not pay dividends right away.

    Well since the second round starts tomorrow, might as well start this thread We have: Pens vs Caps Isles vs Bolts Blues vs Stars Sharks vs Anaheim/Nashville (pending) Hope to see some key players return from injury and hope the 2nd round is even better than round 1. Have at it.

    Amazingly the refs tried their best to stay outta this one, some missed calls here and there, but they let them play. Also it was very clean for a game 7,a lot of mutual respect between the teams, and you could even Tell during the handshake line.
