    Concussion is simply a bruise to the brain, in layman's terms. Key things to do for concussion involve rest, rest and rest. No jarring movements, no contact, anti inflammatory medications such as aleve may help a little bit with healing, also sleep is more important now that it usually is..... As for alcohol, I mean textbooks will pout and scream, but honesty if you don't get hammered, you'll be just fine. Anything straining the eyes is a relative contraindication, but it won't make much difference in the grand scheme of things If you're just chilling out while doing it.

    I appreciate cancer fighting facilities, but knowing some of the ins and outs of RPCI, I will gladly refer patients to NYC, Philly or Minnesota for anything more than the simple stuff, I am disgusted by some of the politics of that place, and I won't get into it much here. As for the make a wish video, that was wonderful and heartwarming, and I enjoyed it, publicity be damned

    Actually being a Navy guy, the WW II place sounds pretty cool, I'll check out bourbon for sure, the conference is only 1 day, I just booked it for 4 because it's mostly house money. I'll keep a note to try and not get good poisoning ;)

    Awesome, thanks for the info, I'm 33 and I don't drunk and party too much these days, once in a while on a trip I'll let loose, but def not looking for the spring break tween scene. I do love good jazz vocals, so I may actually try and get some real estate at one of those one night. As for cuisine, Cajun is right up there with Indian as my 2 favorite eats, so I will partake in everything I see

    Ok to redeem myself in the eyes of the sweet tooths, I found myself in niagara falls last night and am currently working my way through a dozen of freddies doughnuts, yummmm I'm gonna be in New Orleans the 1st through the 5th I believe, medical conference. Never been there, staying a long time the royal hotel in French quarter, any recommendations?

    Ah coffee, I try and get whole beans from every country I go to and then grind them up at home and enjoy good stuff. I also have a French press coffee mug that works amazing for good coffee on the go. Unfortunately, I spend way too much at timmys and always drink crap, the coffee maker in the lounge at work, is just a button you push, and out comes hot coffee, I learned one day that the concoction is just a box of folgers concentrate syrup being mixed with hot water. It was already bad stuff and after seeing that, now it's untouchable.

    In other news, this super bowl will suck and I don't feel the need to watch, therfore I'll try not to. The most insufferable franchise vs the worst fan base... Maybe they'll all just kill each other.
