Gotta rep the Goo Goo dolls being from buffalo and all, and their early stuff from superstar car wash until Johnny R did stupid Disney stuff, was legit. Just sucks now

Haha baby in a microwave!!!! One of the most epic topics I may have ever had.... I should take a poll of the midwives at work and see what the responses are. I have also learned that we need more women..... Available ones here on SS ;)

Well.... I had a Connolly jersey.... A newer blue, and when he went bye bye, I had the name changed to that purse wearing guy.... It still sits in my closet, idk if I should change that to McCabe or break the curse

Since it is summer and some of these threads are getting ultra-bicker worthy, I thought I would add a thread to talk about your time on here, no matter if you're a regular poster, a lurker, a newbie, or a long time sufferer.... I mean poster.... I usually post from my mobile, so I've forgotten how long I have been posting here, but I can say without a doubt, this forum keeps me more up to date than almost anyone I know you and has been a place of great banter, information and at times.... Frustration; however, at the end of the day, I would not change it for anything. I have met a few out in public, either the draft or at the meet up and it's been a blast, there have been conversations regarding sports, family issues, workplace situations, and things that not need repeating. So this is a sort of catch all thread, but please share the good, bad and ugly from all of your time here! Go sabres! Cheers

Haha totally wasn't expecting this tangent, unfortunately it's gone, sorry to be a heart breaker

It's clearly a lake of guiness I took a step forward with technology, was able to post a pic from my phone.... Too bad it's all sideways

I just had me some Chick-fil-A this week in Indiana.... However this seems pretty silly

Ouch..... That was the harshest blow I could receive I'll gladly be George Clooney though ;)

I feel like scrubs are basically pj's and that I'm fighting society because med school happened to me decades ago ;)

I get that the bills seem like they're "winging it" but were there moves available last month or beyond? I mean I don't know where these trades stemmed from and won't pretend to have a clue, no one here saw Matthews and gaines coming to Buffalo and trades are not very plentiful in the NFL. I honestly don't belive its a tank move, I think the upper brass believes we won these trades and that may be the scariest part

One for one is all I would do, player-wise, maybe a draft pick swap or sweetener makes sense, but that's about it. And I see neither team doing it, what would Boston even want? And would a 7 million dollar contract kinda just shaft what we are building here?

When I was in the navy, a long time ago, I wasn't in medicine, but I was a combat photographer for a tad under 4 years. I did underwater and Ariel photography and that included many jumps, it's amazing. Now it was wonderful but as I age, I still skydive once a year (usually) but it's a bit unnerving looking down from 18k feet knowing you're going out.... There are a ton of local affordable places!! As for the fast car, I have always wanted a viper growing up, and though a V10 can be had with similar HP, the lack of handling and overall experience in the SRT has led me to Chevy.

Lol I get it, I like the audi R8, and I don't need a toy, but it's allure is tempting..... The new Z06 looks very nice and a 911, for a good one at least, is 200k....ive driven a 911 4S and it was OK, but not worth it. I'm more looking for the HP and speed for the buck, it's more of having something that can throw me back in my seat and have a targa top. I think porsche's are also for douches lol (and I had a cayenne turbo for a year) and felt like one.
-
Speed is a crazy thing, it's exhilarating, I am looking to finally upgrade my wheels, idk if ill wait until next summer, but the new z06 vette does 0-60 in 2.9 and it is a reasonable price for the HP, I just never saw myself as a vette guy.... I'll prolly just putt around in my subaru for a while

The new opening ice sequence, I enjoyed the video game/highlights mash ups

I am currently at cedar point and the dragster may be the most intense ride I've ever ridden, millennium force also makes the superman feel the the kiddie park.... And alcohol has been consumed

I may be in The Uber-minority but I think Rodrigues has a lot more potential /ability than he's getting credit for, I'd like to see him with Jack for a bit..... This is only based on my eye test

I'm most likely going to pick up more Sunday shifts/on call this season, I'll try to keep up with the league so I don't completely suck in our FF league.... But the bills will go 7-9 this year.... Book it

I go there usually for that, but I just got back a few weeks ago..... The perk is, I don't have to wait in line because my friends has the hook up from working there, so that certainly makes it better, yes it's hot but I like the heat. As for places to drink, it's amazing how many watering holes there are

Mini Vanek.... It's true, 33.... The flow made me look younger. I have a friend who is a graphic designer for Disney so we have a yearly meet up where we go and get wasted for a week and go on rides, Disney sucks.... Until you're drunk. I do also have uncle duties at times, but I'm basically a 12 year old at heart.

I'm in my mid 30's I have 2 sisters, who both have 2 girls each.....I am the only boy that can "carry on the family name" so I get some of the pressure, I keep thinking that it's not for me, I work too much, have a near impossible time finding a woman, and like to travel Wayyyyyyyy too much for the life with kids.... I can see the benefit of having kids, but I get my fill when I teach the little ones in martial arts. And my yearly trips to Disney are enough birth control for any single man :)

I bought it once for an old gf I was with, drove to rite aid in Orchard Park (maybe Walgreens) whatever one was 24 hours, it's percentages are better the quicker after the oops you take it. I wasn't graduated yet so 50$ was (and still) is a bit of cash for 1 pill. I bought it and after getting back to the car she tells me "oh my insurances covers that in full" smh lol. As for the side effects, yes, they suck.... Cramping, bleeding, bloating and the whole deal.... Plus they can throw your cycle off for 2-3 months after, so not my plan A recommendation, but I am glad it exists. As for a 27 year old grandmother?!?! I cant say I've seen one that young, I've seen early 30's but 27 wow. And in other news, along similar kind of lines.... I would be wiling to get pregnant and carry a baby to term if the science was available and it meant I never had to work again anymore.
