I won't ever blame a guy throwing his body around in the NHL, including sam..... But too many times I've seen him easily bumped away causing a rush the other way or loss of team possession, if he's gonna be a 2 way guy, Ala Bergeron then yes please, but right now I see a lost kid, who is getting bounced around the lineup of a crappy team. That's not a good mix for both sam and the Sabres.

It's been so long I have forgotten what that means

I know his linemates make a huge difference, unlike eichel where he can work with almost anything.... The next 2 months have to be finding chemistry with Sam, if nothing clicks, I just don't see him in the long term plans

I'm certainly not blaming him for being physical, but I don't even know if I'd call him a skill guy. Sure he was drafted as one, but I haven't seen it this season....im just at a point where I'm starting to demand more from our players, and Sam is on the top of that list.

I don't think there's any way LV holds that much salary, and I expect what they want, is not something that we wanna give up.... Def not a 1st

The odd thing was seeing Columbus successfully screening our GT easily and quite well, and we have zero of that. I miss Miller :/

And I think it needs to become a thing here :) I read an article on ESPN nhl page about who you'd wanna build a team around, and other than the obligatory McDavid mention, all but one writer said Matthews, one raved about eichel and that he's doing what he's doing on such a bad Team...lets see him prove those peeps wrong!

As a veteran and someone who works in public service, yeah I'm not 100% behind this whole thing..... It's more like an ambivalent Meh to me...... It sucks in general as I've met so many military/police and etc who are just straight up piles of feces and the integrity that comes with most public service jobs has diminished a lot. Now, that is not to be generally applied to everyone (damn I'm getting cynical) but in my experience it just feels that way. So yes, this was a rare case of something tragic, and I think that is the reason for the big gathering, but I also think a small gathering would have sufficed just as well.

Well, a road game on a back to back against a team with some skill. After a no hitter, will Robin Sparkles get the nod again on little rest? Will O reileys beard take over the face off dot again, or will it become Grey and fragile. Does anyone on this team cash in on Jack's delicious feeds?!? So some things I saw tonight. Antipin has his head on a swivel and man he's almost not noticeable, and for a D man that's a very good compliment. Pomers threw some body checks!!! And was very very aggressive on the go forcheck, I was surprised and pleased, he def does not look old.... Unlike Moulson. The Wings rarely had a chance to set up, buffalo played very sound in their end, which allowed lehner to do his job better, which he most certainly did. Our team needs to learn how to shoot, I saw countless missed shots, especially high, and several right into Howards ta-tas. Overall a boring game, but a lot of speed, hitting and tight checking eases the facet it was a 1-0 final. Wished the crowd was more into it, but I guess that should come with wins, We shall see. Jack was ticked after the penalty when he did the spin o Rama, I'd like to see mad Jack more, but it almost seems like it was tempur tantrum like and it almost seemed like it could easily get him outta his zone too. Maybe a touch of immaturity there. Alas, the Tim Hortons was not open after the game, wtf!!! I needed my double double to power through my drive back. It's a win, 2 points, a bit of optimism and a start, let's keep it rolling

That could be true, it was hard to tell, and the replay they showed here I only caught a tiny bit of. I do like the pace of this game, need a little more set up time though

Okposo missed a golden opportunity there, sure it was in the air but cmon..... I'm sitting at center ice in the 300s, this game has a feel of a more keep away zthan actually setting up much offense

And didn't I read Somewhere that our coach used to carry a purse. We're very accepting :)
