I don't blame Hutton much, the first goal was a scramble because of a D breakdown, and goals 2 and 3 were straight up breakdowns by the D. Thompson, he looks, not good. Scandella, wow, what happened to him?! M-stat, he's not an answer to anything at this point, and I'm not sure he'll ever get there, but he's young so he gets the benefit of the doubt. Regroup and best Boston, that's a huge game, lose to the west if you must, but win in your division

The turnovers they created in the neutral zone and quick counters were somethings of beauty, they were very snakebit.... The caps had their grade A chances too. If they weren't in a big rut lately the game wouldn't have bothered me as much, but I'm seeing other teams catching up quick and we look stalled out

Holtby outplayed Hutton, that's the short of it, I honestly thought we outplayed them for a better portion of the game. I, again, saw many hooks and interference go uncalled, I hate that it's being allowed again. Otherwise it was disappointing, just because they could have easily won that game. I hope like hell we beat the ducks tonight!

Now that I've slept and its not an emotional response (I don't do those often) I get it, it still sucks to see the team dominate for a lot of the game and lose 5-2. They absolutley were clutching their sticks too tight in the third. Our D needs to get healthy

I just watched the game on record.... I haven't been this into and angry at a hockey game In a long time.. You cannot let their guy go after your top guy like that, considering it started because of a play on their top guy, inexcusable and it cost this team the game. He also should have gotten a 10 min misconduct as well 2nd, I saw a ton of uncalled interference in the game yet the stripes are calling tiny "slashes" I'm not a fan, it seems to me that when the officiating is called geared towards a more playoff setting, we don't do well. We simply aren't physical enough to hold up. Guhle looks absolutley terrible, send him down, Thompson made the 4th line worse, put Erod back on it. Middle 6, will be the detriment of this team going forward, we need some aggressive changes, they started smothering our first line as the game went on. I don't blame this one on Hutton really, just some bad luck, some lack of skating and some brain dead decision especially in the D zone. Time to see this team regroup, if I'm the other teams in the league, I'm looking at this game and trying to replicate what Florida did, we played frustrated. And yes I'm still Fn pissed about the Yandle thing

I got to work at noon yesterday, it's currently 445am the next day and I'm just now walking out, just to wake up and be back in just a few hours for another 12-14 hours.
