As the season appears to be sadly slipping away, there are many different tangents we have been going on. Phil, ROR, Rochester, GMJB, etc. But over the last 2 month, looking at eichel, I am wholly unimpressed. Yes, Jack is a great talent, he's probably our best player, but our best isn't good enough. I don't really do stats, so you guys can certainly bring that it here, but looking and seeing controller unplugged Jack has been concerning, his D awareness and hustle had been intermittent at best, his shot and pass selections are a mess, he's still not hitting the net, he hasn't thrown a check since I can't remember when. His attitude just screams entitled, I don't know what it is exactly, but while he's an offensivelu gifted player, he often leaves much to be desired on an "intangible" level. Some may not agree, but id like to hear what you guys think, I also think some healthy debate can happen here, and gives eichel his own thread also. Lastly, would anyone be opposed to trading Jack for an amazing haul? Vegas made it to the finals with good pieces throughout and no true star, it's not like it can't happen, it's not what I'm advocating, just advancing discussion.

Just saw the high (low) lights.... And I know it's not the whole game, but is #9 really as lazy as he looked, especially On D?! I'm not really a fan of this year's Jack Eichel, he's offensively selfish and is a very non-engaged player.... Dude has the raw talent to be talked about with the likes of the Crosbys and etc, but he just doesn't get there. Point totals be damned, I want my captain to not do stick fling drive bys, actually backcheck and not only turn on the wheels when there's a chance for him to score. Otherwise, I'm happy I missed this game it appears, games like this, at this point in the season make it evidently clear they are not playoff contenders, as for all the talk about meaningful games in March, I'm not so sure we're gonna get those.

So what is the whole plan, game is at 1, do we have the room booked at Coles or Gates or wherever we may go

All the way into February, sabres on a playoff cusp, and we're still talking ROR....i kinda Expect this when it's off season or we're just plain bad. But I didn't think it would continue this far. In saying that, I do realize that our lack of a #2 center is hurting us and that this is correlated, but overall, no one knows. Maybe ROR takes out Dahlin or Skinner in practice on accident, maybe he regresses, no one knows what would have happened. Enjoy the team now and the growth, maybe Thompson becomes a thing (maybe not) maybe we get our Datsyuk with that pick we got. I think we end up with 84-88 points this year, we just can't compete when the playoff hunt really kicks into high gear and the physical play starts, we've seen it and we just don't have the players or actual structure now to play at that pace

I have a pack with patches from all my counties I've visited, usually that tips them off that I've done this before, I take my headphones off for the safety demo, even though I don't need to, always make sure the exit rows and aisles are clear and even will contort myself staying in my seat section if I need to go overhead as to not stop the flow. Idk man, it's just awful, I wanna snap, as soon as we're flying im good as the noise cancellors work well. As someone that usually gets bumped up to a better zone often, I still think it's nonsense

As I got off the plane, I passed 3 guys in islanders gear waiting in the security line, wearing my sabres gear, I felt the need to stare them down, tap the logo on my hat, and give a ***** eating grin. No response other than a blank stare Winning
