Does Skinner regress to a 20 G 15A player in the next few years? I know looking at his past he's had good seasons, 20s and 30s in goals. I'm maybe a little shell shocked after KO and Moulson. But is whatever else he brings worth that type of contract. He gets under the skin of opponents, which is something we need and haven't had in forever, his passing I don't know, he goes to the slot and the middle. If his scoring drops off, is that contract going to be too much to handle?

What sucks is that even up to a month or so ago, we were looking forward to the 2 pens games as they were the "most important" ones we needed to win, all we had to do was stay afloat a little. We then lost to Florida, NJ, etc etc and here we are, out of touch and fading fast, leave it to Buffalo to find a way and turn it on after the fat lady has sung. I was interested in that guy with the weird name who is consensus #2 winger (sorry I forget name) he's bigger and closing the gap on Hughes. As for trades, I think #1 would bring back a solid #2C and prospect, maybe a Courtier + deal, or something similar. Unfortunatley I don't follow the rest of the league as close, so in drawing a blank on who would trade for the first pick. I just think that we def need to add some size and grit to this team, not every player mind you, but I think we could be a more complete team if we were to trade a nice young talent.
