The steroids will beat off the allergic reaction quicker, but you can certainly use Morton/Aleve for inflammation and Benadryl for relief and antihistamine properties. It will eventually go away, as long as you don't frolic around in it again ?

What state are ya in? Some high dose prednisone as Brawndo stated would be very helpful, Wal mart and rite aid etc, have 4 dollar programs, and I'm nearly positive prednisone is on that list.
