  1. I hope that, I win the lottery, I work less and travel more.... I also hope that the Sabres are exciting enough that when I'm abroad im trying to stream games from absurd time zones, because they have finally reeled me back in. I fear that Jack just isn't the leader we want (no tangible evidence for this) I fear that the team has internal struggles due to being bad again and that we end up with a whole new "plan" I expect.... To find tickets on stubhub for approx 9$ by January ?
  2. I value my life way more than my job, if I had the means to quit today, you better believe there is no way I'd work in medicine in any developed country again. Lets not forget, Connor has played in Edmonton, which, I hear is not a wonderful area. To further that, he's on a junk team (much like ours) with mounting injuries. I know how salty I can get in my profession when even some smaller things are clearly not in line. He's also what, mid 20's, I am sure some of the things I've said then, I wouldn't now, just because of life maturity. Maybe he just wants out of Edmonton, maybe he's venting, maybe he doesn't want to play professionally, either way, he's allowed to not be thrilled at his situation.
  3. I'll shut mine.... If she opens hers ???
  4. Just wait until Jack and Skinner collide in training camp and both suffer season ending injuries.
  5. A little offer sheet miralax will get things going....
  6. Well, I certainly don't rebound very well these days
  7. Ah, I took a glance and didn't see evanders name anywhere, and I only recognized one name and it was a basketball player lol.... Shows how out of touch I am
  8. Ummm what is this, some basketball lineup?
  9. In Sweden, that'll buy you almost 1 whole beer ?????
  10. My friend works for allstate and when I bought my house last year the mortgage company worked through allstate, a gal from Rochester called me up and we made a policy for my car/home, etc.... I was like oh cool... As I switched auto from geico years ago for a better deal. My friend saw my name accidently and called me, apparently the coverage I got sucked and the office that hooked up with premium mortgage poaches customers and gives them ***** policies, after 25 min on the phone with her, she bundled my car/auto/motorcycle, got me an umbrella policy for financial safety considering my profession, basement flood protection, etc and I was much less than the crap the other office got me. I am seeing significant savings and much much better protection and coverages with allstate, more than I ever have in my life with previous state farm and geico. It sucks that these offices still exist and are getting kickbacks from other companies and knowing that the literature of these policies is difficult to digest. If anyone is really unhappy with their insurance, my friend, she is a really good person and will give you honest quotes with allstate, let me know and I'll get you in contact with her. ?
  11. It's very safe around the arena, the waterfront is being built up nicely, there are some local breweries as well.... You can take the metro for free to a certain stop and venture around downtown. Like any city, there are bad areas, but they're a bit outside of the arena district. The 2 hotels closest are the Marriott and courtyard (by Marriott) there are some cool things in the suburbs as well, but you may need a mode of transport (niagara falls, etc)
  12. It was a "don't ask, don't tell" themed party ?
  13. After a year of living in my home I had my first real get together/house party...... It was kinda crazy, the numerous amounts of alcohol mixed were enough to kill a man, I made an 8 pound post roast and the rest of the night was a random mix of shots, hot tub, smoking a hookah and gorging on treats
  14. Maybe I'll come find your location and keep walking by until you notice me, like a creeper ??
  15. RaKru is gonna come outta the alleys of Elm Street and wreck some of the lazy bums on this roster in such a way, that even belichik would do a double take, make no mistake, the massacre that was the buffalo sabres will be perished into the depths of oblivion and we will rejoice.
  16. Went to the Erie county fair tonight, the guys at the army truck wanted to tell me that I looked like Cole Beasley ??? I forgot he plays for us now as I don't follow the NFL very close anymore
  17. We didn't make it to the mosque for thr formal prayers, but in Uganda the Christians and Muslims live in harmony, so it wouldn't be an issue there.... I took pastor Fred to the sauna in town and we were chatting with a Muslim about Mohamed (pbuh) and Jesus without issue.... That wouldn't fly in the very strict middle eastern countries sadly.
  18. I think with decent nutrition and some consistency it's possible, I have asthma, so that I feel is my biggest hurdle (that and not leaving the country every month).... I'll work out with my buddy for a bit, I'll know by next year if it's something I'll ever be able to attain
  19. Something tells me the Ironman needs minimum 1 year of training no?
  20. remember when we were pumped about risto and his tire flipping..... Now, this is what we're all seeing
  21. My good friend just ran the iron man in placid and made it!!! It's pure torture and idk why anyone wants to do that to themselves. He was hit by a drunk driver on his bicycle a few years ago, was in rough shape, broken femur, and in critical condition, so this was huge for him. With that being said, he was mentioning about doing another one in 4-5 years and was wondering if I'd train with him.... I'm so outta shape, and I'm traveling too much, but now the thought of that finisher medal is in my mind. Adhd is a bitch ???
  22. I already set up my auto draft preferences, soooo, as you wish ?
  23. That's not a bad idea, when I get back and have actual service I'll do that, I feel like I'm always hijacking this thread ?? That's not a bad idea, when I get back and have actual service I'll do that, I feel like I'm always hijacking this thread ??
  24. Today was a day of EID, many Ugandans are Muslim split with Christianity, we took Wilbrod out as a family.... My good friend who started this "mom Cari", me (dad), my kiddo, and uncle Mugisha (who is basically the glue of our orphanage) all wore formal African wear, konzu and Gomezi for the eid. Apologies if this offends anyone as I partook in the festivities in formal wear, but we really enjoyed the day. We had a great meal and I took Wilbrod to his first ever sauna/stramroom and we relaxed before heading home tomorrow.
