I just landed in Toronto from and overnight flight from Cairo, expected to open this up and see the Fire Terry choir going strong... Very very cautiously optimistic; all it takes is another 2-3 game losing streak and we're right back in the cellar.

Dude, you clearly work for the Sabres or are on a massive dose of SSRI's We are in a playoff drought, unheard of for the NHL and have just posted the worst start of a season for this team during that said span. There is zero reason for optimism until it's earned, and as of yet... Not even close. We have a "team" of guys that simply do not cut it, lead by a GM that is 10000% incapable of the job. So yeah, I will gladly soak up a few pairs of 8$ tickets when we're out of it by Thanksgiving as it's a cheap and easy date night. But every ounce of criticism and shade towards this franchise is well deserved; especially from a board like this of very very loyal fans. Be better, or move the team.

I woke up, around 7am, this time. So around midnight. Checked the score and then a quick 7 minute highlight video. Man did we look slow/bad, at least in the highlights. How many times did I see the Isles just out pace our guys to open pucks. Embarrassing!

Goaltending still a big question mark. 2nd line, completely lost. D men still having a pairing that isn't up to par. Now the bottom 6 are better and the 1st line is coming on lately;but those first few things mentioned are certainly fatal flaws. So I vote, sadly... No.

Cozens needs to go to Crosby's ol childhood house and shoot pucks into the dryer, or whatever Sid did for monhson end, until his accuracy was wayyyyyy better. I find it hard to believe that a 2C in the NHL doesn't have some ability to improve his shot, maybe he needs some different drills, but at this point it should be addressed at every single practice.

Caught some of the game, that was the best they've looked in some time.....little scary at the end there though 😬😬 The PP is doing some down low into a middle bumper between the dots and that is the look they need to keep, the best chances they have had all season on the PP was with this setup.... Even though they still do the stupid drop pass thing. UPL was in the zone, felt bad he didn't get a shutout. But a w is a w and it looked good. Let's see if the boys learn some consistency, if they played this way every night, we wouldn't be too upset with a close loss out of it

Ironically, watching this power play feels about the same as one without anasthesia 😜 For those who don't know what a TURP is (Trans Urethral resection of prostate) they roto-root your prostate through your tip.... I fell asleep on the couch in the 3rd. But, anywayssss For a team hoping to break a loooonnngg playoff drought, you have to beat Chicago. The fact that we lost to CBJ and then allowed Chicago to make this a close game.... That doesn't make me feel good about this team. I have my fears that we will get rolled by most of the good teams, we cannot continue playing sub par hockey, which, last night, was Meh hockey; we just got lucky because Chicago isn't good as well. Samuelsson cannot be put in the lineup next game, idk why he hasn't sat yet, but the whole accountability thing must only apply to rookies and young'ins to Ruff. Woof, he's been bad.
