Yeah, I think people misunderstand what brining is supposed to do for the meat. Not as much as a marinade as it is a tenderizer. If it's not rinsed good then you have a salty fowl.

Oven roasted turkey is Meh, even if cooked well... But a good deep fried or especially brined and smoked one.... Different level. I did 2 this year and after the brine, I made an herb butter and slathered the butter under the skin before smoking for 7 hours... That's the move.

We certainly are really really good at shooting at the goalies crest. The lack of snipers on this team is stupifying with the high draft picks we've had; Even when Tage had the curl and drag, Grade A, boom... Right into the midsection. They played fine. But getting shutout isn't an acceptable outcome. Sure it happens all the time (sorta) but they have 13 years of reasons to find a way to put a puck in the net.

I disliked the 45 seconds of perimeter passing... You guys were losing just shoot the damn puck on net.

I still say no. I don't have any real Intel on why, I just don't think they're good enough as a unit. If they can manage being consistent longer, then, perhaps. But yeah the last 13 years have kept my expectations at bay. Also, I'm not sure I trust UPL and Reimer in the long term as of yet.
