Was way up front for Godsmack and Shinedown tonight at Darien Lake. We had pit tickets. Spitting close. Never been up that close for a big show. Really makes these guys human to watch them perform up close. Had a great time with my son. I'm not sure my ears will ever be the same again.

Randall is my new love. Not surprisingly, I agree with his take. Counting Bogo and Guhle as changes is...... weird. Sure, if they are in the lineup it is 2 bodies different than 85% of last season, but they aren’t changes in the sense that JBot had to actively do something to make the change. And in a real sense you can say the same about Dahlin. It’s not like any other choice was going to be made there. Having said that, I’m not gonna pound on JBott until I see what all this looks like on the ice. My gut tells me unless Dahlin is a hero out of the gate, its gonna be ugly again.

The only thing I remember about JK treating women badly was when he threw a drink (glass and all IIRC) into the face of a woman at a party. My memory doesn't recall if she pressed charges or if she sued. I do recall it being all over the news for a short bit. Even with that being my only memory of the time, I was never comfortable with the love JK recieved in Buffalo. I always had a nagging sense that he was putting on a good guy act most of the time. I know I'm in the minority, and I keep my mouth shut about it, but I'm uncomfortable with the showering of emotion he's getting now. I guess leading a team to 4 Superbowls will do that in a championship starved city.

I don't thing Carrier has enough time in to be a JAG yet, but he's trending that way for sure. COR wasn't in the NHL long enough to get the JAG label. Was Finley? I don't remember him getting much more than a cup of coffee in the NHL. JAG assumes a relatively anonymous (or at least unnoteworthy) NHL career. NHL career though, not bouncing between the leagues. Rank whats left and vote accordingly.
