John Scott is a fisherman. Another reason I like the guy. Fear of going through the ice is why I don’t fish the hard water.

I’m gonna have a heart attack if it doesn’t work soon. Oh...... you mean the Sabres, not me.

That assessment of Nylander is an excellent reason why we should not expect him to provide an improvement to our roster in a call up. While improved, he’s still not even the AHL player he should be given his abilities.

Someone needs a Snickers.

It’s only exaclty what they did in 2015 if it is TM making the trades for the same assets. Every trade of draft picks for veterans doesn’t have the same expectations that Murrays trades had.

Yeah, Huckleberry was the target. I don’t think PA needs to be responsible for someone else choosing to be rude.

I have no idea what that means.

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

I'm not at a point where I think he's a willing asset. I'm definitely leaning that he is a patsy. -
Yup. Had a helluva career, really.

This is his second season. This better be year frickin 2. And no good manager goes into a plan expecting to not alter the plan as conditions change. -
We aren't going to agree on where that photo was relative to time of contact. I think it was post-initial contact. With that angle you can't really see where first contact occurred. The hit was about even with his shoulder blades from what I can deduce.. High is a relative term. Not head high, obviously, but high. You mention nameplate. I actually think initial contact was a bit lower, like mid shoulders. But as you said, his body and head are low. The only place Jack could have contacted him was high. And the contact slid up his body. I'd call it a glancing blow to his head. It's a tough penalty to see called as it does appear to be incidental. Although to be honest, I'd like to see zero tolerance here.

That photo isn't at contact. It is after contact. My take is that Jack hit him high and his arm at least made sliding contact with the head. It looked more incidental than intentional to me. And I don't think the reaction was faked. Has he had concussion issues in the past? I seem to remember that he has. That would explain the reaction and the team reaction.

Why do i feel funny in my naughty spot when I read this?

I'm not advocating for leaving things the same. I'm just saying that pace is more important than where we control play from. I'd like to see Sam back in front of the net. We had a dangerous powerplay back then.

I agree with the premise, but I don't feel our players can't do it. (double negative alert) We have two second overall talents, a 1st overall talent, a goal scorer the likes we haven't seen in 20 years, and an 8th overall pick. All of whom have shown the ability to make plays at high speed at even strength. I'm not sure why our PP is so damned deliberate in its movement, but I don't think it is player related.
