  1. Ah yes. The infamous vote of confidence .
  2. I know all that and none of it changes the thought I was expressing. I was speaking of year D2 regardless of when they showed up here.
  3. I thought Cozens was a 2nd line wing for WJC? I don’t think there is any reliable way of projecting if he’ll be NHL ready next season until he’s actually playing against NHLers in camp. And I really don’t feel comfortable with yet another center prospect on the NHL roster in D2 year. The only one thats worked for is Jack.
  4. I’ve seen media reports indicating that children are less susceptible to the worst effects of the virus, but I haven’t seen or looked for anything backing that up. And certainly nothing saying children are not being affected at all.
  5. Someone I was talking to over the weekend mentioned that. Ugh. She lost to the biggest ***** head in all of politics. What benefit could she possibly bring to the ticket? And when are the two parties going to stop trotting out retirement age candidates?
  6. If I'm reading Swamp correctly, his point was that the flu has killed way more people than Coronavirus but folks that don't bother to get a flu shot are fretting Coronavirus. That was my take anyway.
  7. College drink food. Think of everything you’d order at a burger joint and pile it up on one messy plate and top it off with a meat hot sauce. Burgers or dogs, mac salad, fries, etc all in a pile on a plate.
  8. NJ using cheap Chinese knockoffs in game. Awesome.
  9. Hutton seems to do better when he doesn't have competition looking over his shoulder.
  10. From Mark Spector on Twitter.... Really amazing to see Draisaitl perform on a team with one first line, a 3rd and two 4ths. He was a tour de force on this road trip, and has 10 pts in the 4 games McDavis has missed. Carrying EDM.
  11. A defenseman trade that Jbott wasn’t in on? No way.
  12. It sure seems that there wasn't much to get for what we had. Hard to believe that couldn't have been better managed.
  13. After viewing all the replies on twitter it was the only reaction I could have.
  14. Just what we need. A thread with replies just like the twitter replies.
  15. Cheektovegas and my Godson gets some screen time.
  16. Yes, I’d consider his views if he were presenting him/herself as a scientific specialist, or presenting legit scientific data of someone else’s origin. But I see nothing of the sort here and given the site it is more than reasonable to assume that none is forthcoming.
  17. What does this even mean?
  18. Real science requires peer review, which does entail consensus. We'll disagree on the lieklihood of sincerity on that site.
  19. My understanding is it did go away. Is it better today? It’s a legitimate question, but outside of the point I was making.
  20. I think our governments reporting should be viewed with skepticism, but not on a scale that this website warrants. Although, with the way our executive branch is changing the scientific based government agencies we do have, it won’t be long before our government is about as trustworthy for this kind of i fo as that blog site. Give me a site that ends in .edu and I’ll trust that one first.
  21. That seems too convenient to be coincidental. As PA mentions, red flag city. And given that site’s overwhelming reporting of “science” counter to everything that actual scientific organizations are publishing, Id propose that if you aren’t approaching that site with a large dose of skepticism, it is a site that is probably pandering to you.
  22. Did you click on those links? I did. They were dead links.
  23. Didn't see a single link to any regarded sites to back up the info. Just alot of editorializing being passed off as factual. And nearly all of it is counter to established, well reviewed actual scientific study. There is your hot air.
