  1. I forgot Houda played with the Amerks. He was a seasoned NHLer before he came to the Sabres organization.
  2. Comfort with risk is entertaining.
  3. I think what they are getting at is, you need your QB to be comfortable with risk, something Our last several QBs didn’t exhibit.
  4. Do it. Post pics. I need the laugh.
  5. The Ramsey trade was a favor to Mike. They granted his wish to go to a Stanley Cup contender. It wasn't a hockey trade. It was pretty well documented at the time. The rest... yeah, hard to argue.
  6. I agree that I'd easily choose Sauve if he were in the second category. His work with Edwards as the starter was fantastic.
  7. Pun jokes!
  8. Manufacturing and construction is in phase 1. Looks like I'll be headed back to the office. Not sure how I feel about that.
  9. What an embarrassment of riches this organization has had at goalie. The only stretch with mediocre goaltending has been the post-Miller stretch. Sure, we put up with Tom Draper for a season, but this organization has been able to follow one very good GT with another in pretty short order. Are some better than others here? Probably. Could you ice an awesome team with almost every goalie on this poll? Absolutely.
  10. Home made pizza and antipasto here.
  11. Kicking the can down the road is NOT a winning strategy.
  12. Just throwing words out here because I don't have confidence that I've got any right.
  13. Snowed here too. I see the 7 day forecast shows we might see April this coming week.
  14. Zhitnick is the 90's version of Risto. On teams that had some success.
  15. Bodger, Zhitnick, and Krupp. 3 heavy minutes guys. 2 who could play any role asked (Bodger and Z) and one huge guy who took care of things in his own end and get the puck out safely. We missed Krupp badly when we traded him as part of the LaFontaine deal. All 3 could be physical. All three played big minutes. Bodger and Z would fit in today's game. Krupp was more of a stay at home guy.
  16. Tom Selleck plays for the Rangers? And LOL at Ovie.
  17. I’ll show you my fan if you show me yours!
  18. Maybe I live in a bubble, but I haven't heard or read one person suggesting we shut down until there is 0 risk. No idea.
  19. The music thread is locked?
  20. I'd like to be able to say, good, this shows that there wasn't an issue with his Russia dealings. But unfortunately Barr has plainly demonstrated that he's willing to do Trump's biddings instead of justice's biddings, so I have no faith at all that this development is actual justice at work.
  21. Read the title of the thread. That was his only point.
  22. The Guess Who was an awesome band. One of my favorites.
  23. I don’t know that they’ve made procurement plans with anyone in particular. The tone of the announcement was more, we shut down and took a financial hit to stave this thing off so we are going to do whatever is needed to make sure we don’t get shut down again, And will be obtaining vaccines when we can to make it happen. Given the size of our organization and the industries we are in, I have no doubt we have the influence to lend weight to that proclamation. I agree. But I have every expectation that the private sector will get dibs.
  24. There is entertainment everywhere that doesn't require use of scarce pandemic resources to obtain. My employer announced today that as soon as a vaccine is available they are obtaining all they need to vaccinate the entire workforce, almost 80,000 people Of course, they are looking to protect the means to continue profitability and cash flow. While I would benefit from it, I don't like that they can and will do it. It's not like this Fortune 100 company's profitability is any more important than someone else's health. I'm not fond of scarce health resources being prioritized by who can pay the most, and be most aggressive about obtaining it. Granted, I don't really know who or what group I would want prioritizing it. I can't think of a sincere group that would do it in a way that is truly beneficial to all.
  25. Ahhh. you are probably right.
