Could Eichel actually be the problem with the Sabres?

Blues didn’t have a super star -
And Vanboxmeer.

By the decades... 70’s Sabres mascot would have been a dashing, smiling Musketeer, gleaming rapier and all. 80’s mascot would have been a symbol of futility. Maybe a British WWI soldier from the battle of Golipoli (sp?). 90’s and 2000’s brings us Sabretooth, young, brash, exciting, and entertaining. 2010’s mascot should have been Eeyore. 2020’s? Oscar the Grouch maybe?

Rob Ray is already the team mascot. They should make a stuffed animal character of him and have that guy rappelling from the ceiling, shooting T shirts into the crowd, and stealing food from the fans. He’d out gritty Gritty.

We should install one of those outdoor shower thingies.

....are in a thrift store with a $7 price tag waiting to be used as someone's Halloween costume.

It is. But it's mostly because the rest of us have decided that the people you are referring to aren't worth the energy. It's like mud wrestling with a pig. You either enjoy the mud or you don't. I'd love to have you as a regular contributor, but understand the frustration.

The only thing I want to be in charge of is wielding Mjolnir and using it to smite every next person who suggests we tank again. Ever.

I get where you are going but, in a piece about proper mask use it is only good sense to be demonstrating proper mask use. If nothing else, for reinforcement of the message. It’s a public service.

Did you forget just how easy it was to obtain Jack? This team has been one injury away from doing it again. And again. In fact, they did it again. And they weren't even trying to. Building a team is definitely harder than acquiring a Jack. The last 5 years have been proof of it. -
Make the announcement that Sabretooth lost his love for the game, that way everyone gets irrationally mad at him instead of despairing his loss. Then stage a mock lottery for his replacement, finish second in the lottery, and pick the mascot left over and proclaim him at least as good as the mascot we didn’t get.

I don’t have enough interest to seek out the articles, but it’s been statistically shown that trading down is a BAD play in the NHL draft. Odds of success drop way off as you move down places in the draft until you get to the 3rd round.

Wasn’t he brought in as more of a team president though? And had an assist from Patrick as well. It sure seemed like a mentoring set up. Not the same as the current situation.

So,Russia has weird right wing conspiracy theorists too.

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

Noy sure which ones you are specifically referring to, but there were a bunch of mod dumps. -
You are Kevyn Adams, what are your first 100 days like?

I thought Ralph had a lot of praise for Taylor. I suppose it could be lip service, but why not say nothing instead if you don’t like the direction? After yesterday I’m skeptical it was about coaching philosophy. -
Regarding those bulleted points: 1. I don’t blame them for not trusting typical outside sources. It gave them Bylsma, Housley, and Botteril. Then again, they’ve probably asked the wrong outside sources. Wonder if the league has been playing them? 2. Regarding not wanting to give term to Eichel and Skinner, I’d love to hear Bott’s rationale. He did come with a cap guru rep. And it’s looking like he was right on Skinner. I won’t criticize that without hearing the reasoning behind it. 3. Yeah, I’d assume I’m getting negative evaluations if Adams was traveling with the team. The guy with the boss’s ear is not the guy you want to see watching you. 4. It will be interesting to see what AHL coaching candidates will sign up now. Have to think that a budgetary blood letting won’t attract the best and brightest.

This is clearly NOT part of their plan.
-
Maybe Casey indicated that was the direction he wanted to go. Or held over a barrel. Poor trade decisions can do that.
-
Someone willing to provide cliff notes?

I suspect we can kiss develop-by-winning goodbye in Rochester. Top AHL coaching candidates will go elsewhere because of these firings. Top FAs will go elsewhere without a commitment to winning. Our prospect pool isn’t enough talent to ice a winning team. It looks like Inky’s Friday nights will be spent elsewhere.
