More than just hourly employees. Manufacturing Engineers tied to day to day operations come to mind as well.

Yup. I said it looked like we might be trending towards an internal budget time. Certainly, the unlimited budget in off ice areas is a thing of the past.

Prediction for Dem VP candidate?

I thought I heard somewhere that Cuomo has indicated zero interest in a national position. -
Cheeses. One good owner in all these years. We knew we had it pretty good. We never knew how good. Thank you Knoxes for being what this community always deserved.

This particular set of players to me is a microcosm as to why we've never quite been good enough to lift a cup. That first set of choices is the counter to Claude Lemieux, Brad Marchand, Ken Linesman, Esa Tikkanen. Our historical best guys don't quite match up. We see that in several of the categories so far.

So did Matt Ellis. LOL

Tenets of capitalism are only bad when it is applied to certain industries. Or only to certain segments of certain industries Hmmm.....

I guess our opinions differ on Kaleta. I don't think he had the hands or hockey sense at all. I think he was a straight up give it everything you have and make the roster through sheer determination and effort kind of player.

PSE Announces Numerous Layoffs in Management Positions

I never indicated avarice. In fact, I specifically mentioned budget, which could be as neutral in intent as you want to see it. See, you do assume. ? -

Where are these "normal" severance packages coming from? It's been awhile since any company in my field offered that kind of severance, and if it were a performance related decision as assumed here, severance wasn't in play anywhere I've been employed. Given what we've been hearing, I don't know how you assume PSE was on the generous side of industry standard right now. If they are in controlling costs mode, I would imagine soft skills costs would be among the first to get cut. -
This system doesn't work in alot of manufacturing type positions where X output per day/hour/whatever is required. You can be 20% more efficient than the next guy, but if you aren't there on Tuesday, Operations has to adjust to make that up. It sucks that most places enact policies to manage it that effectively de-incentivizes the use of sick time.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall when the bill arrives at a restaurant.

I'll bite. I don't see strange bedfellows at all. I see a cross section of the working class. The people that Democrats left behind and anchored Trump's support. Annnnnd... off to the politics club we go.

It's not like there isn't history here....

Speculation: Small Market NHL Teams Could Fold, Sabres are one of them

This. I've missed hockey for so long that I don't remember what I miss anymore. What you guys are experiencing now? Pffft.... The Tank did that to me. This is nothing. -

He's calling you unaware of your bias, not a liar.

Explain this. Eligibility is automatically determined and the checks are sent automatically if you are eligible..

I'll go back even further. The sport stopped being the same when they stopped mandating the use of stock sheet metal. -
I have a soft spot for A frames. And Gambrel roofs too.

I'm hedging towards Miller, but it might be recency bias. Barrasso, Edwards, and Sauve were all excellent. I think you can make a case for Edwards and Barrasso. Sauve might be a half notch behind.
