Let the arguments begin...... https://www.newyorkupstate.com/entertainment/erry-2018/05/b4f494108a5457/the_battle_of_upstate_new_york.html Its a flawed experiment. None of those dogs were properly cooked. Not nearly enough browning on the casing. I agree with the Sahlens assessment though. They aren’t the dogs I remember. Been ages since I’ve has a Wardynski’s. Time to seek them out I guess.

It's a game. Tempalost.

We know how this ends. Victor crashes his car into a Paula's Donuts and Jesper will hound Mittlestadt into early retirement by making him carry Jesper's bags and stealing his meal per diems.

Khymlev was on the Russian Canada Cup team before Buffalo signed him. He was a highly accomplished player in Russia, basically on an all star team in world competition, much more accomplished than Olofsson's brother. There was no luck associated with signing Khymlev.

I think I have all my old K1000 stuff. If I can find it, it’s yours if you want it. None of it was high end. Bought it all on a newly weds budget almost 30yrs ago. Cormorants....... grumble, grumble. We had rosey breasted grosbeaks at our feeder for the first time ever. Gorgeous birds. Were only around a couple of days though. Migrating through.

Scotty does not deserve to be on this all time team.

So, office environment =bad. Ugh.

Punch and Lindy get my votes. I think a case can be made for Darcy given the team success he's had.

Crappie filets coated with heavily Cajun spiced cornmeal and deep fried tots, served with broccoli salad. Paired with a semi dry NY riesling. Fantastic.

https://apple.news/AoC0awHb7RtSwrWJnVtbV0w In an alarming development, five sailors aboard the Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier in Guam have retested positive for COVID-19 after quarantining for the disease, and have been removed from the embattled warship a second time, the Navy announced Friday. “This is not behaving like any infectious disease I have heard of if these tests are accurate,” said John Swartzberg, a UC Berkeley infectious disease expert. “None of this makes sense.” All five sailors had previously tested positive and were evacuated off the ship, which has been stuck in Guam since late March after the virus swept through the close quarters of the nuclear-powered carrier. They spent at least 14 days in quarantine on the island; the healthy sailors isolated in individual hotel rooms and the infected sailors together in group quarantine on the naval base. The sailors were allowed back on the Roosevelt only after testing negative twice, the tests administered at least 48 hours apart. Swartzberg said the development was baffling. It meant these sailors had the virus smoldering for a longer time than expected, meaning incubation periods could be longer than two weeks. Or more likely, he said, there were false test results among the several tests given the five sailors. “It’s very possible COVID has some more surprises for us,” he said.

Lucky Day is the place. If you are in the Buffalo area before I end up moving out of state, and the COVID thing is under control, I’m game to drive out for a meet up.

+1 to good cherries in a manhattan. They add more than just sugar and nuclear food coloring. When the holidays come around I like to pick up a couple of jars of the fancy baking cherries that Aldi carries. I think they are called Mereno cherries. Swamp, you’ll appreciate them. They are sour cherries spiced with something in sugary liquid. Those spices play off a good high rye whiskey perfectly.

If I remember correctly you were looking for Manhattan bourbon and Four Roses is solid there.

WT101 and Evan Williams is a good pour.

There are two bottles I buy in handles. WT101 and Evan Williams black label. Before things got stupid Weller Antique was on that list too. The world needs an awesome value tequila that is sold in handles. I would kick a puppy for a handle of La Camerena reposado in a 1.75l.

I've never seen cask strength Angel's Envy, but I wouldn't pay $250 for it regardless. I buy the standard Angel's Envy regularly and keep it on my cabinet at less than $50. Hell, I stopped buying Weller 12 yr when it hit $40/bottle. I was getting that for $19 before the world got stupid for bourbon. You want cask strength delicious at a reasonable price? Old Grandad 114 is a bargain.
-
That's closer to my experience. WT101 is meant to be bought in handle quantities. It's my preferred every day pour.

Zhitnick 2.0 If he were on a good team we'd all respect his play alot more.

Wherethehell in NY are you seeing those prices?

The first two were straight up favs. I'm showing my age. Foligno and Vaive. One 40 goal scorer in his prime and one 50 goal scorer in his prime. JP almost made the cut. Kozlov is easy to hate. Noone gave up quite like ol Slava.

I hate you right now.

Your bagel might be a bit stale if you risk breaking a nail making it. Just sayin'.

It pains me to admit it, but Beyond Burgers are quite tasty. Don't judge me.
