Not a doctor. Didn't stay in a Holiday Inn last night. My expectation is that it is indirectly, not directly, related to weather. Cold weather breeds close proximity and recycled indoor air, and that is the meaningful change that is contributing to the resurgence.

And yet again.....

Surely we aren’t waiting for Inkman to clean this up, are we?

Coworkers mother died from COVID-19 over the weekend. Another coworker took his mother to the hospital for it this weekend. He’s quarantined too now. And yet another coworker found out he was exposed multiple times last week. A close friend that he’d been spending alot of time with tested positive over the weekend. Thought she had a cold. Maybe she did, but she had Covid too. So now we are all wondering if we are going to be quarantined when the contact tracing completes. Pretty sure I’m canceling the small gatherings we were planning for Thanksgiving now. No way I am risking exposing our parents.

In before they close the border pre-civil war, eh?

If Twitter, QAnon, Brietbart, and OAN had a bastard foursome child it would be named Parler.

[Offseason] Which was the worst best-selling album of the 80s?
Weave replied to Eleven's topic in The Aud Club
Agreed on the 80's music is largely forgettable sentiment. -
Made a shrimp and corn chowder for dinner. Lots of sauteed onions, celery, carrots, bell pepper. Small diced taters, home made shrimp stock, shrimps of course, a good dose of heavy cream, and Old Bay for the flavor base. Heavy crusted bread to sop up the broth. Fat. And. Happy.

Head over and take a peak at Parler if you really want to see what Twitter could have devolved into.

Lol.

Wildlife management unit. State owned land managed for hunting and fishing. Google up iroquios wildlife management unit and use satellite view on the map and you should see 5 or 6 shooting lanes along Bartel road.
-
Even with good ventilation, I couldn't see myself in an indoor range right now. Don't know what town you live in. Are you aware that there are causal shooting lanes in the Tonawanda WMU near the Iroquois Wildlife Refuge? Bartel road I think. That place is a zoo when hunting season starts though. After season it should be easy to get a lane.

Probably swimming against the stream in this crowd, but I never cared for Bruce Springsteen at all. Born in the USA gets my vote. -
My county now has almost triple the number of cases we saw at our April peak. Its gonna be a long Winter.

Very nice. I’ve only been out twice. On the same weekend. Was a tough outing.

Not gonna happen in 2020 with a January start.

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency
Weave replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Oval Office (Politics)'s Topics
This is concerning. It is outside of the intended process. And it has a chance of succeeding. This is not democracy. We are witnessing a full Wizard of Oz moment. The curtain has been pulled back and we can now see how tenuous the hold on democracy and rule of law really is. I am genuinely concerned. -

This feels like asking what the definition of "is" is. -
In that league? Finishing. Silly.

Maybe I am misremembering but technically the election result isn’t official until the Senate confirms the results of the Electoral College vote, no? -
All I know is, green rhymes with some words.

This is a dangerous business you've picked Eleven.

Ranking the Sabres 1st rounders of the past 30 years:
Weave replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
May was a victim of himself too. He was never going to live up to the billing of being the player Buffalo preferred over Keith Tkachuk, but he had skills. May simply loved the violent part of the game and that took over the skill part. I think it was Don Cherry, talking about Eric Lindros being on a short leash for fighting, that said you can't make pretty passes and score pretty goals when your hands hurt so bad you can't feel your stick. I think if May would have stayed away from the rough stuff we would have seen more plays like the May Day goal. But we'll never know.... -

I say this every time someone talks about disappointing 2nd rounders or mid to late 1st rounders. Statistically, these guys are bottom half of the lineup. We should never be expecting more than that. Getting a top half of the lineup player after about 10-12 is bonus territory. -
Thats about where I am at.
