  1. The act of moving Jacks injured neck doesn’t give you a reference?
  2. When Jack went to the bench after the injury occurred the trainer on the bench moved Jacks head/neck and Jacks response (all on camera) was a mix of pain, shock, anger.
  3. I have no “after” imaging to back it up, but my herniation took 2-3 years to really get back to normal. At 6 months I was still quite affected.
  4. I seem to recall a Sabre who broke an ankle and had lasting effects, but I don’t have a name. I am old and feeble so I may be all wet here.
  5. I’d hate be the guy that has to weigh out the risk/reward analysis on this player now. Could make or break a front office career.
  6. Statistically moving down in the NHL draft is a stupid move, but if we can use it to fill a hole, I’m in.
  7. Noone backing up @inkman being affable. Poor, unaffable Inky. 😂
  8. Came here for this. Leaves satisfied.
  9. So, would that make him an Olofsson type opportunist?
  10. Was it was was an unsubstantiated jab at that point intended to deflect focus from a government who handled the situation ineptly, not a conspiracy theory. The claim needed, and still needs, solid evidence before it could become anything more.
  11. Let’s see this team blow having two #1OA and two #2OA. You know they have it in them.
  12. Its an AP item. Not hard to find. https://apnews.com/article/pa-state-wire-race-and-ethnicity-health-nfl-sports-205b304c0c3724532d74fc54e58b4d1d?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=AP
  13. I can’t believe noone is commenting on this AP report yet.... “The NFL says it will halt the use of “race-norming” — which assumed Black players started out with lower cognitive functioning — in a $1 billion settlement of brain injury claims. The practice had made it harder for Black players to qualify.”
  14. Not sure if Inky approves of this form of Power or not. #headscratch
  15. Hey, guys. Thread’s over. Toronto aint winning the North.
  16. Agreed, but if the GM that drafted him were still here he’d be much more likely to get a look. New GM. New team building vision, no attachment by the current GM, underwhelming performance. I’d be shocked if he WAS signed.
  17. Different administration, different organizational goals, “not my guy”. I’m not surprised he wasn’t given a look.
  18. Like all 2nd round picks, he had maybe a 25% chance of being a pick that made it. Shouldn’t be a shock that he was one of the 75% who didn’t. Maybe his game was different enough from what KA wants to build in Roc that he wasn’t worth one of the 53 contracts we are allowed.
  19. I gotta ask. Was Larsson's game that good this season that we are going to claim walking away from him as our biggest blunder? I mean, regardless of whether we played him more than a 4th liner, he's still a frickin 4th liner on every team that hasn't sucked for a decade. And one with hands of stone at that. FFS if we are lamenting Larsson that hard we should have been in the playoffs, no? Because downgrading Larry just ain't that big in the grand scheme of suckitude we've got going on here.
  20. I would need to see a middle career, middle of the pack 1C or top shelf 2C, and at at this stage of our offseason a starting goalie. If we have a plan to address goalie that doesn’t require Jack then I want their top prospect. There would need to be more, but those 2 would be the bulk of my ask.
  21. I think what it proves is that there is more than 1 successful model in the league.
  22. A sunny, breezy low humidity day. A comfortable deck chair and charcuterie plate. A stiff pour of Belle Meade cognac cask finished bourbon, and a Macanudo Grand Cru Royale. Thank you to all who gave everything that we honor on this day. I sit and contemplate today because I have the privilege to do so in part due to your sacrifices. 1st Lieutenant Peter Weaver, Pilot, 390th Bomb Group 1918-1945
  23. In retrospect the Hall signing feels a bit like the Ehrhoff signing. It just didn’t have the owners very public proclamation attached to it.
  24. The Jacobs had been notorious cheapskates. Wonder if they still are?
