I have reached a point with Tom Wilson where I would be ok with an intent to injure against him.
-
If ya gotta explain it you probably shouldn't use it.
-
And yet we all talk about how a group of players on the ice when a dirty incident occurs are supposed to man up and handle it. You can’t have it both ways.
-
I’m guessing they hate it given it was a decision of theirs that led to the lottery being fortified.
-
A “yes” would have sufficed. Is it outlandish to think all those things? No. Is it prudent to plan as if those things will occur/repeat after a small sample size that included RK level losing? Abso ***** lutely not.

That hair pull takedown and head slam is pretty damning. IMO every bit as dangerous as McSorely baseball bat swing to the back of Odelin’s head.
-
Boy, you must really enjoy the results we’ve been getting these last 10 games to essentially have the same forward lineup return. Blech.

My gut tells me Risto is not interested in re-signing when his current contract is up. Too much baggage here. The next team he plays for will benefit for it.

Current longest playoff droughts of teams in the NBA, NHL, MLB & NFL

That’s quite a lot actually. -
You are doing it wrong. You are supposed to state it in the most disrespectful way possible.

I say we all bring this mess back into Liger's thread. He's just deflecting.
-
I think they both look better used. Mitts has shown development, sure. But they are better deployed, really. That's the real difference. Dahlin still has the yips in the worst way. He's covering up for them with points. He's not better. He's better deployed to get the points.
-
He’s seen that role alot. Crosby hasn’t exactly been an ironman over his career. Ginos 1C level for sure.
-
Better or just better deployed?
-
I’m not sure I am willing to say this anymore given the eye opening similarities in records between RK and DG.

This team does not get better by his merely being gone. Exposing him to the expansion draft is a stupid idea. It is stupid because 4 coaches now have seen that he is the best option to force feed minutes. With him gone and not replaced we will be force feeding minutes to the defenseman that was deemed the next best choice after Risto to force feed minutes. Bad plan is bad. Trade him to upgrade him, or better yet, upgrade the bottom pairing and slide his usage down a slot. Now, the UFA thing after next year, that's a thing. He's not likely to want to be back. trading him to avoid losing him for a rental price is a legit argument. Moving him because you don't like the way he plays even though the next guy in line will likely perform as bad in the same overused role is not a legit argument.

Is this addition by subtraction? If not, who is coming back?
-
I'd take one.

Maybe Tom Draper can come out of retirement?
-
Minimizes Matt Ellis’ contributions.

Ugh. We just can’t have nice things.
-
I know his name changes if he’s floating in a pool.
-
IMO we’ll need more roster changes than Jack coming back. I don’t see this team as a Jack away from running with Boston et al. There should be no standing pat with this forward group.

Not thousands of dollars art. I more or less agree with Curt regarding the silliness of spending huge money for art. And I like and buy art. then again, money is relative, right?

We liked that about GMTM too. Until we didn’t. I have no opinion on this guy. Don’t watch college ball outside of UB. And I generally like the swing for the fences approach.
