  1. We need a third choice: I'm only participating to watch the drama unfold.
  2. The only glitch I see in your numbers is that there is a likliehood of significant overlap in the vaccinated group and the COVID antibody group. WTF knows how much overlap.
  3. What is this stan thing about? Edit: fan. It’s not autocorrect
  4. What’s more political than taxes, right? Saw a Propublica article today shedding light on the myth of the rich paying their fair share. Thiught Id share it and see if we can get some conversations going. https://www.propublica.org/article/the-secret-irs-files-trove-of-never-before-seen-records-reveal-how-the-wealthiest-avoid-income-tax I can’t copy snippets of the article to tease it. Some points made: The top 25 richest Americans paid an average of 15.8% income tax. Thats lower than the rate if you made $45k last year. Bezos, Bloomberg, Buffet, Soros, Musk have all managed to pay 0 income taxes at times. The article is a long read, and they’ve put out other articles in this series, discussing how the sliding scale for income tax just stops working at the top. 5. My only concern with this plan is, any team that would be trading a real good player for the chance to draft Power (I saw that twitch, liger) is a team that is adjusting their timeline. Otherwise, what would be their motivation? So I’m not sure we’d get a really good 23-25 yr old player. More likely we’d get a player of UFA age, 27ish. Depending on the player I might be on board, but the field would be pretty narrow methinks.
  6. Abso-freaking-lutely. Like they should have done 6-7 seasons ago.
  7. I seem to recall Ronny Harmons name coming up in comparison to that play.
  8. Its also very selfish of us to expect him to waive a right he justly negotiated.
  9. The act of moving Jacks injured neck doesn’t give you a reference?
  10. When Jack went to the bench after the injury occurred the trainer on the bench moved Jacks head/neck and Jacks response (all on camera) was a mix of pain, shock, anger.
  11. I have no “after” imaging to back it up, but my herniation took 2-3 years to really get back to normal. At 6 months I was still quite affected.
  12. I seem to recall a Sabre who broke an ankle and had lasting effects, but I don’t have a name. I am old and feeble so I may be all wet here.
  13. I’d hate be the guy that has to weigh out the risk/reward analysis on this player now. Could make or break a front office career.
  14. Statistically moving down in the NHL draft is a stupid move, but if we can use it to fill a hole, I’m in.
  15. Noone backing up @inkman being affable. Poor, unaffable Inky. 😂
  16. Came here for this. Leaves satisfied.
  17. So, would that make him an Olofsson type opportunist?
  18. Was it was was an unsubstantiated jab at that point intended to deflect focus from a government who handled the situation ineptly, not a conspiracy theory. The claim needed, and still needs, solid evidence before it could become anything more.
  19. Let’s see this team blow having two #1OA and two #2OA. You know they have it in them.
  20. Its an AP item. Not hard to find. https://apnews.com/article/pa-state-wire-race-and-ethnicity-health-nfl-sports-205b304c0c3724532d74fc54e58b4d1d?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=AP
  21. I can’t believe noone is commenting on this AP report yet.... “The NFL says it will halt the use of “race-norming” — which assumed Black players started out with lower cognitive functioning — in a $1 billion settlement of brain injury claims. The practice had made it harder for Black players to qualify.”
  22. Not sure if Inky approves of this form of Power or not. #headscratch
  23. Hey, guys. Thread’s over. Toronto aint winning the North.
