  1. Fixed for accuracy.
  2. So, for the lazy, who does that expose?
  3. I think Borgen’s range is much more likely between Mike Weber and McCabe than it is McCabe and McKee. And I don’t think a Weber ceiling is a given at this point.
  4. The downside for the other team that may lose a Dreidger was well covered up thread. They had no motivation to trade him to us because it means they would lose someone else. You’re angst is irrational.
  5. Vegas all over again? Seems like you could build a decent foundation off whats been leaked so far.
  6. I've said it before and I'll say it again. We will not notice at all the player we lose in the expansion draft. The rending of garments and gnashing of teeth here is over nothing of significance to this season's performance.
  7. Skinner's overall game is undeniably selfish, not unlike Evander Kane's. But he is (or at least was) a helluva finisher, and worthy of a first rate set up man. He doesn't need an Eichel (although Eichel certainly benefitted Skinner). He needs a center and/or RW that keeps the puck in the O zone and puts up alot of shots. Skinner's game is a game of opportunity. Of ambush on loose pucks. If you don't get him linemates capable of producing shots and rebounds he is going to look like a selfish player with little upside. With linemates that produce loose pucks in dangerous areas Skinner will look like a selfish player with excellent finish.
  8. Most. Appropriate. GIF. Ever.
  9. The only place I ever remember seeing them was Tony Walker and Co.
  10. Unless I am misreading things, your angst is over him not protecting a goalie? If the goalie is known to be chosen by Seattle, what is the angst about?
  11. Unless he knows this is coming.

  13. Yup. And we are as guilty of it as any.
  14. Way out of line. Take this ***** elsewhere.
  15. Thats how I recall it. He’s not a transitional player, he’s an ambush scorer.
  16. I have no idea what ai think might happen, but what I want to happen is a good old fashioned hockey trade, not a swap for a lottery ticket. I think the best chance of a hockey trade is if Risto is packaged as part of a deal with Sam or Jack. If he’s moved alone my gut says the return will be a not quite ready for NHL prospect or pick.
  17. I have an uncle who owns a 1934 Ford truck. Its pretty cool.
  18. I think the first usually involves a primordial soup and a lightning strike and the second a petri dish and regular feedings of maltose.
  19. Not every year has a superstar in the draft. This appears that it may be one of those years.
  20. The team's record will improve next season with Jack, Sam, Risto off the team. Risto will be a key piece of another team's strong playoff run. Casey Mittlestadt will sore 45 pts next season.
  21. *swoons*
  22. My son is learning that lesson
