  1. Curious how you define good prog rock if it doesn’t include Rush and Peter Gabriel led Genesis.
  2. Disagree. Roy was a good 2C. He played in a time when 2C was the easy minutes guy. 3C was the checking line duty guy and 4C was expected to drop the gloves occasionally or was a kid working his way into the lineup. Because the last two C roles don’t really exist anymore Roy wouldn’t necessarily be a good 2C today, but he’d be a passable one.
  3. I think Brian Holzinger is more likely. Derek Plante ceiling.
  4. Reino has the lowest odds of moving, but the likelihood is still much higher than 50% IMO. And the difference in return between Jack and Sam will be about the equivalent of a 3rd line forward.
  5. I must have missed some entertaining stuff if that other thread got nuked.
  6. I’m going against the grain. Jack and Risto will be gone but we’ll get enough now players to field a respectable lineup and KA will get is 2 decent goalies. We’ll be neck and neck with the Kraken but draft after them when it is all said and done.
  7. When the offseason is over and they haven’t picked up decent goaltending. FFS they have time and options. Let’s judge them when we have the results in hand.
  8. Fixed for accuracy.
  9. So, for the lazy, who does that expose?
  10. I think Borgen’s range is much more likely between Mike Weber and McCabe than it is McCabe and McKee. And I don’t think a Weber ceiling is a given at this point.
  11. The downside for the other team that may lose a Dreidger was well covered up thread. They had no motivation to trade him to us because it means they would lose someone else. You’re angst is irrational.
  12. Vegas all over again? Seems like you could build a decent foundation off whats been leaked so far.
  13. I've said it before and I'll say it again. We will not notice at all the player we lose in the expansion draft. The rending of garments and gnashing of teeth here is over nothing of significance to this season's performance.
  14. Skinner's overall game is undeniably selfish, not unlike Evander Kane's. But he is (or at least was) a helluva finisher, and worthy of a first rate set up man. He doesn't need an Eichel (although Eichel certainly benefitted Skinner). He needs a center and/or RW that keeps the puck in the O zone and puts up alot of shots. Skinner's game is a game of opportunity. Of ambush on loose pucks. If you don't get him linemates capable of producing shots and rebounds he is going to look like a selfish player with little upside. With linemates that produce loose pucks in dangerous areas Skinner will look like a selfish player with excellent finish.
  15. Most. Appropriate. GIF. Ever.
  16. The only place I ever remember seeing them was Tony Walker and Co.
  17. Unless I am misreading things, your angst is over him not protecting a goalie? If the goalie is known to be chosen by Seattle, what is the angst about?
  18. Unless he knows this is coming.

  20. Yup. And we are as guilty of it as any.
  21. Way out of line. Take this ***** elsewhere.
  22. Thats how I recall it. He’s not a transitional player, he’s an ambush scorer.
  23. I have no idea what ai think might happen, but what I want to happen is a good old fashioned hockey trade, not a swap for a lottery ticket. I think the best chance of a hockey trade is if Risto is packaged as part of a deal with Sam or Jack. If he’s moved alone my gut says the return will be a not quite ready for NHL prospect or pick.
  24. I have an uncle who owns a 1934 Ford truck. Its pretty cool.
