You hope like hell it was a misunderstanding of intent. But it certainly may not have been a misunderstanding. Better for everyone that the worst was assumed and tragedy averted.

I don't really follow prospects/draft to any extent, especially prospects for other teams, so my awareness of Kreb's abilities is limited at this point. But the sense I get from what I've seen and read here is, Krebs might be more a Curtis Brown type (understanding that Brown's stats are somewhat depressed given he played in the dead puck era). -

As Dudacek (I think) so sagely noted, Adam Creighton. Somewhere between 2C and 3C on a decent team. -
Clarence center flea market next to Antique World, Sundays in warm weather season. First Sunday of each month is a sort of garage sale day with dozens of tables outside in addition to the booth vendors.

That 3rd D pairing looks like a 6 minute/game pairing. -
I think in Adams mind that is exactly what’s happening. Or, more likely, I am projecting.

This is our 2nd dog from Blue Moon. We adopted a ~12 week old chocolate lab from them and he was the best dog I’ve ever experienced. Just a lovable goof of a dog. He was the perfect dog for our family. He was part of a litter that was found in an Ohio woodlot. So far so good. We took another long walk today. Her first daylight walk in this neighborhood. She definitely has a strong prey drive when it comes to the abundant squirrels around here. I have a feeling the squirrels will be avoiding our backyard like their like depends on it. She really comes alive on the leash. Totally drops her guard and becomes happy dog and puts her personality on display. It’s obvious that someone in a prior life worked with her on the leash.

COVID hit my sisters family pretty hard just in time for Christmas. Her son started getting symptoms on the 22nf and tested positive on the 23rd. Her youngest daughter started symptoms on Christmas morning and tested positive yesterday. My sister had COVID during the Thanksgiving holiday so she was very excited to see family on Christmas since they missed out Thanksgiving. She was extremely disappointed to have fate intervene for Christmas. Everyone was fully vaccinated and boosted and symptoms have been relatively mild.

Not really a Christmas gift, but we brought home our rescue dog today. She did fantastic for having her world upside down. 7 days ago she was in a pound in Kentucky. She spent a week at a foster home here in NY, and she came home with us at 1:30 this afternoon. She's had a good meal. She follows us around the house, and she's claimed the left side of the couch as hers. We took her for a long walk and she was fantastic on the leash. She's snoring loudly now. Getting comfortable already.

PA takes alot of lumps, but he’s almost always thought provoking. He’s always a welcome voice in my mind.

Who Does KA Trade at the Deadline and What Does He Get For Them?

I think the idea is a great one. Use one of those picks to get a solid vet D man to bolster the development of the kids. I just wish the player being rumored wasn't a player on the only team that matches Buffalo for futility. I'd want a player with a playoff resume. -

I forgot about that Mumps outbreak. -
Not a complaint at all, we did adopt a dog today. A gorgeous 1.5yr old black lab that was found living in a ditch in Kentucky. Her name is Mabel and she is a very shy sweetheart.

that was def my point. We are good at not doing the preventive stuff and even better at throwing away the results.

My wife and I are working with a couple of rescue groups to adopt a dog. My complaint today is how awful some people treat other animals. Breeders that breed dogs continuously and then dump them at the pound when resultant medical issues crop up. Or people abandoning elderly dogs. Hunting dogs abandoned because they aren’t good at hunting. Unwanted litters dumped. What better analogy for our society is there than not doing the ethical thing to make sure your dog doesn’t get bred and then walking away from the results of breeding. Between political strife, pandemic strife, and our cruelty towards intelligent, social animals, my expectations for people to do the right thing is shot. We just suck.

I think that was the name of their 2nd line center.

I seem to recall a bunch of US citizens of Italian decent hockey players from NHL, AHL, and euro leagues playing for the Italy hockey team back in the day.

I’d be genuinely surprised if disclosure of medical status isn’t covered under the CBA and therefore isn’t a HIIPA violation.
