And the league has rescinded the one game suspension for tkachuk. What a joke league. And nothing for the two cheap shots.

I just can’t understand how something so easy to avoid turns into a gong show all because the refs don’t do their jobs. The charging/roughing/elbow to Tuch’s head should’ve been that. But instead they go into game manage mode and we get screwed. They let a cheap sucker punch go at the end of the scrap (the reason I hate Tkachuk’s is their crossing the line/no code) and we get royally screwed after that and suddenly we are in a crazy finish. Tuch could’ve been seriously hurt just because the officials didn’t do their jobs. It’s so hard to watch and it goes on all over the league. There is no way there should be betting on hockey simply because of the game manage style of officiating.

I’m still annoyed by the fight. Tuch just about smacked his head in the ice because the refs don’t do their f’ing job. Then when he’s down, Brady punches him and his head does touch the ice and then he gets in another punch while the refs are breaking it up. The last being cause for an extra two minutes. And then we saw how it ended. Glad we hung in there but the league needs to get a handle on this garbage. If they rescind Tkachuk’s suspension I won’t be surprised.

Watching the final moments makes me glad I don’t bet on sports. But honestly, if the refs are going to just call crap on us when they know what Ottawa is doing and let them get away with it, how can the nhl be allowed to have betting? Again, 3 minutes left Tkachuk high hit on Tuch. Call it! Game is over. Instead we have one of our top guys having to fight a guy who’s a very tough player and he risked injury. Then we are somehow short with Cozens yet Tarasenko can throw a punch over the top and get nothing. We shouldn’t have had to kill any penalty at the end and instead we have to battle. It’s ridiculous officiating and it makes me angry. We are not a dirty team yet we seem to get the short end of the stick a lot.

When will we start getting proper reffing? Tkachuk ran Tuch high and it’s an easy call for roughing. But no. So now we have Al this crap

Anyway, I guess this is what we get when we let our expectations get high. I’m already heading into chill mode and not caring again. I’ll still rep the hoodie and jacket though. Cuz they are awesome.

Wow. I think this team needs a change but not sure who goes or who comes in. Okposo should never have been re-signed. He is old and so slow. But they have to make sure they don’t go in another 8 game losing streak or it is over for sure. They have to manage the streaks. Tonight’s loss was a bad time to lose for sure with Ottawa waiting. Good effort tonight but too many guys fighting it. Not sure the answer but there are definitely coaching issues too. How Matt Ellis is employed is beyond me. The team has 2 pp goals and no imagination. I’m getting concerned for sure and I wanted to wear my new Sabres hoodie (arrived today) proudly.

Deserve so much better than this. We have played well and team defense is better but we can’t seem to score. Sucks.
