I think the situation is worse with Samson than it was with Grigs. I see Samson as being far ahead of Grigs at this point in time of being drafted. While Grigs was not ready for the NHL I think it would be cruel to Samson to be sent back. He is just too much better than the rest and gains nothing by going back.

I think they would have been blown out many, many more times if not for Miller though. Holy crap look back at the roster. Calling that a bunch of scrubs is being way to kind. Murray is making this an honest team that will compete, win on occasion and give season ticket holders some value for their money. I have said this before and hope I never have to again. I will lose it if I have to pay $90 a ticket to see Matt Ellis again.

Last year was the worst I have ever endured not only as a season ticket holder but as a fan. The whirlwind of the last week while likely not putting us in the playoffs this season guarantees we will be getting something in exchange for our money. This team will not be a pushover or unable to ice a legitimate NHL team. We didn't do that many times last year and it was embarrassing and difficult to endure. And some of these kids could say there is no tank and be great this year. I'm not expecting that but it could happen. Regardless, the future looks like a hot damn good time to be a season ticket holder.

Agreed on both counts but I think both players may force the teams hand. Although in Grigo's case I think we all agree Roch is best but if he actually earns it, the he should get it. With Samson I just cant see the benefit of him going back to that level but like Grigo we have a ten game window to see what he/we do.

The Peter Pan thing should be enough to make anyone realize they need to check themselves.

And we are likely going to do it again this year. But I think Samson's maturity and skill set probably allow him to transition much better. But that rule is biting us three years in a row now that we can't send a draft pick to Roch.

I interpret GMTM as basically knowing that some teams are going over the cap with some f/a shopping and he will be taking a player that the team will have trade as a result.
