Majority rules for another dreary season for the chance to pick one or two and would be sad if we picked up Evander Kane. Clearly I disagree. Sizzle, thanks for posting :-) You're right. Risto has been ahl eligible and benefited from that we know. I'm more comfortable in my brain seeing Pronger upside in Nikita from what I have SEEN from him, and from what I have SEEN from risto, well honestly I'm not so sure that Pysyk can't do the same. All hail! NIKITA!.. Like Myers I guess he makes the jump to the big club. Him and Samson have zero left to do in juniors and aren't eligible for Roch. So this year we get burned twice. However these guys unlike Grigs are ready to take that step. I will not be surprised to see Risto sent Roch, Samson, Nikita and Grigs make the team. And with that many kids doesn't that bring us full circle to so many guys wishes of tanking!!! Problem being, I expect those three guys to be good and contribute. There will be no tanking this year under Teddy and if he brings these three kids to start the season, I guarantee it Godd style. Gotta go. Scouts can get lucky and many times make mistakes. This years example will be Lemieux falling to the second round. This is funny to me. Nikita can go end to end with the puck like Paul Coffey and take people out hard like Scott Stevens. I have referred to Nikita as our 10 year + Chris Pronger. Compare him to McNabb? LOL! Ya he gets his hits in, but is mostly clueless and cant skate worth a damn compared to Nikita. The first time I saw Mcnabb hit the ice it was face first as fell stepping on to it. You need to better than compae McNabb to Nikita. Especially if he's a legend! I do. They don't.

And there's the rub for tankers. Great enough to get some picks at the deadline but that defeats the tank because he will be helping us score goals and win games. Can't have it both ways. Throw some goals by Grigs and Samson and we may show some offense.

We can afford him and what it would cost to get him. A young power forward. Why wouldn't we want him other than for tanking? Nikita is an untouchable to me. I believe he will be the best we ever had on D.

One person you tankers always seem to overlook in your cellar dweller aspirations is Chris Stewart. He is on our team. Doe she light it up? Don't know. But Drew Stafford probably does in a contract year. And what if they traded Myers to the Peg for Kane? Tanking boys, is over.

While I am anti tank I want to say that I'm reading on this page nobody didn't give their all last year. Bull. There were certainly some that didn't and their gone now. That clears that up. And whoever thinks that pick 1 or 2 in the next draft is available, that's completely delusional. No team is giving those two prizes up knowing they are once in a generation talent.

I think tanking is over and our D will be better this year. 2nd season for Nolan, improvement from Girgs with more points, icing a competitive team. The best hope for you tankers is that the goalies just cant get it done. And if that happens then so be it. But I just don't see a flat out tank. Other teams will b worse like Toronto possibly but they do have a solid goalie. We will likely need a lotto win to achieve your goal.
