Don't like him but don't need to. Has my respect as a coach in that I would love to punch him in the face. He certainly fits the play a heavy game style more than the Babcock also.

I can't believe you started a new thread for this!@!!! :flirt: Luke's a good guy. No clue if he's a good coach but he always was a great guy as a player. I think if he is the guy it's a HUGE ah play by Murray. Not my first choice by any means but if that's who my GM put's forth, I'm good. Cause my GM I have full faith in. And it is that role that will make a team a team more so than a coach in todays game. A bad coach will be hard pressed to screw this up going forward. A good coach can become great though.

That's an automatic given isn't it? More so if him and Shanny split GM duties I think. It will be a lovely steaming pile though that will amaze and entertain us for years.

Tough sell getting rid of talent now for a complete re build after signing MB. Hot mess for years there likely. Our coaching candidates are now: Torts Maclean Marc Crawford Mike Keenan Paul McGuire. Ducks and runs for cover.

Gotta say man, as a season ticket holder who feels the beating year over year (doesn't everything in life work like that?) this would be a reward to me. Terry has tried in the past and failed with Darcy. I want to say this in a way that doesn't offend me. It 's nice to have an owner swinging a big Bab co ck! :w00t: Time to have some fun after years of garbage. Same thing for Bills STH. Good times are near my man. Don't get off the wagon. Most exciting times losers have seen and the ride up is going to be the best ever. We have earned this as fans.

True but even though GMTM may not have emotions, he won't want to deal a guy who said no thanks to Toronto so he could come to Buffalo so soon after Babcock is considering the shatting upon the Leafs also. Karma. Gionta is here for the rest of his time as a player. 1 year, two three who knows but I just don't see GMTM parting with a guy who was willing to come here when the team was looking at rock bottom. And to add to that, I like him as a player. He has a lot to offer our D for a number of years. Perfect vet imo. Never mind keeping a guy like Tallinder past prime as much as I respect Hank. Josh should have a pretty good six or seven year run here before hanging them up filling that same position.

Ok so I feel this. NFW Murray trades Zem, Zad, Gorges, Risto in a ROR deal. Maybe I'm starting to slow down young man. Sometime with work and drink, I cant keep up with all the message boards interweb stuff. :P

I've been thinking this for some time now. I would love to get ROR. But this talk of Risto going a deal is just insane. I don't want to part with Nikita to get it done. Pysyk maybe but I really think since we aren't winning the cup next year we should just let this one be and see what happens when he hits FA. Hell who knows, maybe even his salary demands are a little more reasonable by then. Not likely but why should we give up anything to get him now? Of course if we can move Cody in a deal that changes the whole thing.

It's being reported, on here, that Babs will meet with Holland tomorrow. In order to make his deadline day of Wednesday would mean he went to San Jose today. I don't think he did and that says nothing of rumors of the Blues wanting to grab the headline for a dsay too. And now, I'm being told there is a potential this may go on longer than expected. Friday seems like the day now according to me. Aye!
