Nikita's a kid. He has a chance to be amazing or a headcase. I respect the HOF D but we haven't had what Nikita brings in a long time and quick as he brought it, it's gone. Bogo gives me some measure of being able to do both hit and skate but I see him skating far less than Nikita will. I'm excited at what ROR brings to the team as well so get me wrong. But mancrush on Nikita.

I'm still hurt. I'll get over it easier if he is screw up long term. But I expect him to be Pronger like long term. I got no issue with ROR but we lose a guy who can bash and skate.

Nice info. Great opinion and shows why they are willing to let him get an offer sheet. It might cost them less than the agent is requesting.

I don't think him leaving has anything to do with him not being good enough for Bylsma so that spin is wrong imo. I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by this development. I'm really surprised it took this long. Irbe is going to go home to Latvia. He gave up being a goalie coach once in the NHL already to go home. He only came back out of respect to Nolan who was coaching the Latvians. If I wrong about this then someone should raise bloody hell. Nothing to see or read into here. Move along.

Mad respect for GMTM from me. More now than before and I was pretty impressed with him since he came to town. Some people will never accept anything if it's not exactly what they thought of and the way he operates ZFG style maybe puts some people off. Too bad ZFG We significantly improved the hockey club.

Zadorov I will miss greatly. I enjoyed seeing him play. Huge upside. However, the return being one Ryan O'Reilly makes that hurt less. It is an awesome addition that helps Eichel and Samson coming in. Having ROR will let them grow into their roles instead of being forced into it right off the bat. I think everyone on all sides including the players themselves should be thrilled with this deal. Thank you GMTM for providing us with all of this fun.

Actually, good management has gotten us to where we are, Eichel day! Do you realize how hard Murray worked to ensure last place? Overcoming Nolan, bringing in the right guys that wouldn't move us up the standings etc. I called you guys out during the season and today is when I expect us as a group to move forward together. Seems that won't be the case. Happy Eichel day boys.

Well I guess I'm going against the grain as usual then. I do happen to think there is a limited market for ROR based on salary demands. Pysyk, Foligno, 31 and Griggy and Hodgson does get it done today. How's that.
