Hmmph. I think the Boston crowd sucked for most of the game last night. They were awful quiet in there. I think this is more normal now than most are willing to admit. It's hard to cheer when you're texting you know. I generally leave my phone in my pocket except at intermissions. For me ACC, Bell Centre, MSG and Tampa and of those MSG was the most fun crowd that hated us Sabre jerseys in the crowd. I'm thinking of a roadie to Nashville next year. I'm starting to get a kick out of some folks who seem to think we are alone with the dead arena syndrome. Hell even in the great hockey town of Montreal they have chicks tossing t shirts and leading cheers in the upper bowl to generate some noise. Want a difference in arena entertainment? MSG has a live band playing on a balcony in the bowl. We have dancing garbage cans from twin city on the jumbotron. It is such a bush league presentation in our rink.

If I'm not mistaken Moulson has a NTC and my wife's Vanek jersey was rebadged to Moulson in the off season so unless they buy him out he isn't moving.

I'm good for reducing the equipment. I'd also be good with banning all hard plastic shell stuff in elbow pads and go back to wood only hockey sticks. I don't think any of that is happening though save the goalies equipment being reduced again but there will be a backlash from the goalies I would think.

I don't see anything wrong with them soliciting their customers for tips to improve the product. I also see this as a way for them to say sorry Dan. It's just not working out. But that only matters if they use the info. Why bother though if they don't.

Someone (sorry forgot who) mentioned the other day that we may as well put Jack with Foligno and DLo. After spending the rest of the day laughing about it I now think it's genius. It would spread our scoring around and it's not like Jack would notice as he going end to end thinking he's Bobby Orr or Paul Coffey I started to appreciate the idea quite a bit but won't ever expect to see it happen. But it would be an interesting way to boost scoring.
