True, it's a 25% chance. But I think it's worth it. I want the kids to grow, progress and mature as much as anyone else. Why can't we keep all the AHL eligible kids in Rochester for the year? They can grow together, win together, develope together, go deep into the playoffs and maybe win a championship. Am I the only one that thinks this is better than having them up with the big club two or three at a time getting their ###### handed to them? I say keep them all together in Rochester. The more they play together the quicker they'll develope chemistry and cohesiveness. I don't want the kids to suck. I want the Sabres to suck. And want to add McDavid.

Would you rather finish 30th and get McDavid or finish 27th and get someone else? It's not even close. Will they contend next year? No. So why not bottom out and get what could be a generational type player? I don't understand the debate.

Exactly. One more year of suckitude for a generational type player. Like I said before, keep all the kids in the ROC/JR's all next year focus on the 15-16 season. Anything higher than dead last in the standings next year is an absolute failure.

I don't call it progress. I don't care about progress. Leave the kids in Rochester/Jr's to develop. Hell, I hope every NHL ready prospect stays at the ROC next year and they make a run at the cup. The top pick is all that matters next year, anything else is a failure.

Some new bodies showed a lot of hustle against the wings. Rangers are .500 in their last six. I'm sitting this one out.

Did you really think the Sabres would win in StL? If not, the the unit cost is not relevant, you're not betting against a spread. Assuming the wings win tonight I'm up almost nine hundred. Even if you bet max units with me my lead will grow because I will have more units available. I figure I'll have 2-3 more units for the Boston game depending on the number. That will put me 1100-1200 ahead of you. I think the rangers line will be closer to the red wings line, the lower the line the more units I'll have available than you. You're right, I'll most likely have to bet the Isles game. But I won't have to bet much, and I won't have to win, I just have to bet the same team you do. You have to bet max units and hope I bet the other team.

We'll agree to disagree on on taro and cereal. As far as me taking the lead that is completely your fault for passing on the wings and blues at home. My strategy from here on out, subject to change if my right pinky toe itches, is max units against the Sabres up until the pick-em against the Isles. I'm hoping my lead will be big enough I won't have to bet that one.

How is that a smart move for you? Why would you not hold and pray for a Sabres win? That's really the only chance you have.

Oops, I missed Claude's 11 units before. So if the wings lose it might go to TM8? That's like Connolly coming out of retirement and winning the scoring title.

12 units each. Damn you two for forcing me to go big. I was hoping to sit this one out with it being in buffalo. Taro and cereal are now forced to bet 11 units or fall out of the competition. If Claude stand pat, and the Sabres win, Claude pretty much wins by default. I hate you both for Making me do this, 15 units (3K) on the wings.
