  1. I think I remember Doohickie talking about power grid issues where he lives....around Dallas, I think? Maybe I'm misremembering. Would make for a puzzling choice of location.
  2. I did not know they were owned by Murdock, thank you for that. So they are on the same level as FOX News, CNN and MSNBC, but on the FOX News side, I guess that provides some context to their "lefties loosing it" segment.
  3. Education Department Slashes $600 Million In Funding For ‘Social Justice Activism’ Teacher Training https://thefederalist.com/2025/02/18/education-department-slashes-600-million-in-funding-for-social-justice-activism-teacher-training/
  4. I think they'll come for the dreck on PPP long before they look at you.
  5. I see your point. I agree with you. I don't think that makes my opinion of joy wrong, both can be true. YMMV of course.
  6. I imagine these latest appointees must have Adam Schiff pretty nervous. In other news, Sky News Australia is lamenting MSNBC canceling the abhorrent racist Joy Ried, as she was prominently featured on their segment "lefties losing it". Sky news Australia is very pro Trump, no idea if Australia in general is. That's awesome. They did it again. That's also awesome. Right?

  9. I think it's this simple. Do people forget that Trump's the one who put him in this job during his first term? He's clearing out all personnel who led DEI initiatives under the Biden administration.
  10. Is Pam Bondi batshit crazy?
  11. That's interesting, thanks for sharing.
  12. What's with the and? I shared something I came across regarding Trump and Ukraine, in a thread titled Trump and Ukraine, without comment or endorsement.
  13. https://www.wsj.com/world/white-house-and-ukraine-close-in-on-deal-for-mineral-rights-e924c672?mod=breakingnews https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14423219/volodymyr-zelensky-surrenders-donald-trump-sign-mineral-deal-hours.html Looks like Trump may get his minerals. Yay America!
  14. This is not in response to Brown specifically, just in general. The Army has a finite number of MTOE slots for every MOS of every rank. Typically, the higher your rank, the fewer slots there are. I know they went to a different retirement system since I retired back in 14, but I think for most of the senior personnel they'd still fall under the pension plan. Once you hit 20 years you receive 50% of your base pay as your retirement pension. For every year you serve after that you receive an additional 2.5%, which would be 75% after 30 years and so forth. Many people hold on for the money and don't want to retire. What this would lead to is a backlog of soldiers with a promotable status not being able to move up in rank. The further down the line you go the bigger the backlog was. We had alot of sergeants and staff sergeants that were forced out for meeting their retention control point because a slot never opened up for them to be promoted into.
  15. I find Karoline Leavitt such a refreshing upgrade over the last press secretary.
  16. I don't dispute that, I'm merely sharing what I see on PPP.
  17. I think that 3rd term stuff is just trolling. I don't believe for one second that Trump will try to run for a third term.
