You make a fair point. Common sense says the organization thought more highly of Savoie when they drafted him much higher than Kulich in the same draft. Does the organization still feel that way? I have no idea. I personally have always had a serious man crush on Kulich and considered him the better prospect. I may be proven wrong in time, we'll see. Given what he's done in the A as a teenager I think it's hard to argue against it. You may remember my trade proposals for Saros prior to the draft included Savoie, but Kulich was untouchable to me.

I've never been high on Savoie either, it baffles me whenever I see someone say he's a better prospect than Kulich.

I disagree. While I believe Levi's floor is higher than 6K's ceiling, he's not there yet. So far this year 6K has been the better goalie. Today, Levi is not our #1, neither is 6K, I believe rotating them right now is the correct thing to do until one of them forces their way into the crease based on their performance. No, you're not.

This is fair. You may be right about Comrie, we'll find out when he's healthy. My prediction is predicated on the assumption 6K continues to play well until Comrie is back. I could have it back asswards, we'll see.

Happy the top line is back together. Love the 4T line. I think the Krebs line could be interesting with Savoie. Curious to see how RJ does with Dahiln.

I think our goalies are set for the next few years. I believe Comrie has played his last game in blue & gold. So far this year 6K has been at worst, serviceable. Three wins in four starts, two of which he played excellent, one decent, and one clunker where the whole team was *****. If you want more than that from a backup that's a you problem. 6K isn't going anywhere.

6K. Wow, that was a rough one. I said in the GDT I didn't like him getting the start last night, I thought three in a row was too much for him at this point in his career. Not a great game. For those who care about such things, 6Ks save % is down to .901 and money puck has him 48 out of 69 in GSAE, what a difference a game makes with a short sample size. 6K is still 3-1 in games he's started, DG needs to do better in managing those starts.

Not happy about 6K playing tonight, I think they should have went with Levi and played 6K tomorrow.

The 6K we saw last year was never close to top ten in win percentage, not that I care about such things. What I do care about is of the last 63 shots he faced, only two got by him. One was a good deflection where the shot was wide right, the other was a deflection off of Joki. Most important though is 6K has won every game he's started. By any metric or eye test (well, almost any eye test), he's had a decent start to the season.

Well said. I agree his his ceiling is a 1B, that's what I'm hoping for. So far he's exceeding expectations.

For those who care about such things, 6K is now 23rd out of 69 in goals saved above expected per 60. 6K has a save % of .926, 10th in the league. I'm glad Adams wasn't stupid enough to lose him on waivers like so many wanted.
