The difference in glove speed between UPL and Levi feels like bantam and NHL.

Weird thing to pay attention to/notice. He is Rousek wearing an old Sabres base layer? That’s the navy blue they wore forever ago. Normally they have the royal blue long sleeve.

Is there another team in the league with more OT penalties than the Sabres. It feels like 80% of the time we lose on 4 on 3. Christ.

Not to mention that there is a 100% chance that there are closeted teammates across the NHL. Imagine being on some of these rosters and your team basically saying "eat poop, I don't agree with your "lifestyle""...must feel awesome....

I live in the capital region and use FuboTV at $75 per month. I registered my zipcode as 14217 so I get all things MSG no problem. It also gets me all the Bills games. Plus it allows me to log into ESPN and the ESPN app for all the other sports I want to watch. $29.99 per month is waaaay too much for MSG+. That is insane.

As a one off that could be cool.

I have some major frustrations with McBeane. But I always ground myself with the Pegula lead Sabres Team. I have no interest in replacing McBeane, because we have seen how much worse it can get when the Pegula's have to make decisions.

Something is up. This isn’t a “healthy Dahlin” away issue. It’s not a “well Adams should have made a trade”. We went from a team the league was going to be worries about in the next few seasons to a total tire fire. I don’t have any good answers. I barely have any answers. Maybe we were figured out? I don’t know how you match Granato back in the building. We can’t afford for this to happen next season early.

WTF happened post all star break. It’s surpassed strange. This doesn’t look like the same franchise let alone team.

Before the ASG if you told me this was going to happen I would have told you you’re crazy. They might miss it, but this is a real hockey team. I thought Granato was untouchable for the 23-24 season. Baring disaster. I think it’s time to start having that conversation.

I don’t think playoffs are enough. The way they are finishing the season is leaving such a bad taste in my mouth, I think they’ve lost the wiggle room to just make it. They have to be in the thick of it. Somewhere around where the rangers are this year. We have to be tougher. The defense has to progress both individually and via structure. We have to give up less. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but the fact that effort has been such an issue is concerning.

So do I. He’s just a guy, like many on this roster, that has more responsibility than they should at this point. If Joker was further down the depth chart, or was a call up from Rochester I’d probably be even more excited about him than I am. And I am already relatively high on him. This take works for probably another 3-5 players on the game day roster.

I’d like 3 skaters this offseason: 1. A guy to who can clear guys out of our own crease. 2. Vanek 2.0. Somebody who can make their living standing strong in their crease and bang in the garbage. 3. Somebody who can stand them up at the blue line. (Obviously a goaltender. Maybe 2)

Meh, Greenway is not hurting the team. But I also don't think he is helping. I didn't notice him at all last night. At one point I realized I hadn't seen him so I was looking and he wasn't on the ice for a good 5-6 minutes of game play. Fan have been clamoring for somebody to help this team get more physical. We made a move, so I think there is some frustration that he didn't matter last night.

This is where I struggle after this game. Yes we were outshot in the 3rd. Yes Tuch can't take that penalty. But also, the tying goal was on UPL even though it felt inevitable with 6-4. And the second goal was terrible. I find myself more annoyed this AM than I normally do.
