Not tonight. We need to slow it down and hold possession. -NJ fans are weird. They have a Danny Devito hype video. But it’s not even from anything recent. Like, it legit looks like he filmed it on the set of Twins. It has to be 30 years old. Also, sometimes the fans chant two different chants. Not call and response. Just, like, multiple things happening in different corners. - Devils fans near me think that Levi and one more offseason for the Sabres makes the EC murderers row similar to the QB situation in the AFC.

The "Cleaning Fee" in NY/NJ area is always insane. $75 for a bedroom comes out to like $225 per night after taxes, cleaning fees. Hotels are cheaper. I have some unfortunate medical debt at the moment, nothing crazy, but enough to be annoying. I get paid on Q1 this month which is good, but we have some vacations and stuff planned as well. Plus I just bought a new snowboard, boots, and bindings 2 weeks ago since it was end of season. So it isn't a matter of "can" it is a matter of "should" I drop an extra couple hundred bucks on a ticket and a hotel today.

I am actually in NYC today. Debating going to this one, but I really don't want to pay for a hotel....Ugh....

If we win tonight, the arena better be absolutely exploding in Buffalo Thursday.

The first line needs to be more physical. Mittlestadt brings a bit more tenacity and physicality to a line that was all skill all the time. Call me crazy, but I don’t see a need to make any change unless it’s situational. I like both lines the way they are. The kids are being protected. Which is maybe a good thing right now. The last 9 games we have a roster playing like a real life NHL team. They’re right where a couple of 21 year olds belong.

Don’t look now, but the Sabres just 6x’d their playoff odds and have moved from 0.4% to a 2.4% chance of making the playoffs.

The Blackhawks are up 2-1 on the Wild. Could they maybe feel like playing Pittsburgh on B2B?

This version of the Sabres matches up with the Rangers so well. Looking forward to this match up going forward. A lot of fun.

It is a long season. We can't all catch all the games. I get it. But it seems like the guys who have the sharpest pitch forks, and brightest torches are guys not even watching hockey and just screaming "Adams and Granato suck. Look at how they mismanaged EVERYTHING" I literally just had these conversations this week with the same person. I am not exaggerating. This is not a dramatization.

A few weeks ago we were gonna head in on the train from Albany. But then we played like poop post all star break. Since the Kane trade tickets are way more expensive and the only way to get back is to leave early, so we were going to get a hotel and just work in the city for the day Wednesday. It didn’t seem worth the cost at the time. Kicking myself at the moment.
