I beat all you guys to it. Now let's see if Ovechkin gets his due for that nasty hit on Briere....

You know what? I didn't even see the 'in law' part. You're off the hook, Corp. I'd do any of my 4 sisters-in-law. Woo hooo!
-
Staring at your sister. That's a little creepy, Corp.

A Festivus for the rest of us. Now for the test of strength!

What hand-eye coordination by Hecht. He's done this a number of times. Batted the puck out of mid air between the defender's legs. Simply amazing! :worthy: Normally, lines are part of the 'area'. It looked like he played it while it was on one of the lines. Either way, he was too close, and should learn from it. I'd like to know why Gaustad didn't take that draw. Come on!

We all do, Inky. Well, except for Rabbit151, because he's a Spurs fan!

Well, whatever it was, it certainly worked! Great job, Petey! -

Yes, because it was airborne and went through traffic. -

Gratton. Therefore, Sarich was traded for Briere. Happy now? Are you kidding me? Did you see some of the boneheaded passes he made? He was brutal tonight. -
Very prophetic, indeed.

Looks like we'll not be facing Lundqvist tonight. That's great news. Bring on week Weekes! "Kevin Weekes is expected to start tonight's game against Buffalo, and forward Jason Ward will be out due to an ankle sprain. Jed Ortmeyer also practiced today after fully recovering from a pulmonary embolism he had on Nov. 21 but is still out indefinitely." http://www.nypost.com/seven/12012006/sport...tt_cyrgalis.htm

I'm in Section 121, Row S. First two seats on the left after you come out of the tunnel.

I heard it too. Loved it!

My guess on Novotny: Separated shoulder or something collar bone-related.

How 'bout putting the 06-07 version up on the web so we could all have a look see?
-
Pisses me off that it won't be on in HD. It's the Versus national game, but it's not on channel 95 HD. Bastards!
-
Dude, remove all 600-699 channels that Sabres games may be on. That way, if you have the 700's in your channel listing, you'll get the games and not blank screen. Tivo always records on the lower channel.

Try clearing your cache. Right now, your avatar is of Ryan Miller in the right bottom foreground, and an overhead shot of him in net behind that. Is that the new one?

I think it crept into our boys' heads that they don't really need to win this game tonight, since they've wrested home ice away from the Canes. Our guys look like shiat tonight.

Saw elcrusho a bunch on MSG tonight. The Cup is holding up pretty well!
-
Both embarassments to the game were caused by the same buy, Jacques Lemaire. I said to my friends when NJ beat Detroit in the 95 Finals that their winning the cup would be the ruination of hockey. I hate that I was right. Everyone started copying the Devils and look what happened.

Dude, I LOVE your avatar. Priceless!

I've read this in the papers this morning, and I like it: "The Bruins mustered just three shots in the third period, and none after Dumont's goal." Great job boys. I've been very disappointed with the NHL linesmen this year. I have Tivo, and I'm a USA Hockey Referee, and I always notice offsides when it happens (can't help myself). I usually replay in slow motion and I'm usually right. I think you're referring to the third period last night when a big Boston DMan (Gill?) carried the puck sideways across the blue line and the forward was in ahead of the play. Linesman waved it good, even though Gill kept the puck on the blue line as the forward entered the zone. Hey linesman - the entire puck must cross the line FIRST! Don't anticipate! The linesmen's bad calls have been very disturbing to me this year. There are too many of them.
