  1. If we were to attempt to trade Miller for Tarensenko, how much of the trade would Miller be worth? 25% 50% 75% ? I'm not naïve to think Miller for Tarensenko is possible, however with the depth St.L has already and their need for a vet potentially elite goalie if Murray were to insist on Tarensenko do you think it could happen? In the ideal scenario we'd have 3 teams(St.L, Minn{Harding still injured}, Wash) bidding at Miller, and potentially a couple others. (Anaheim? NYI? Chicago even?)
  2. If we have the #1, the first thing I'd do is see if we could fleece Edm into sacrificing goods to Buffalo for Ekblad, seeing as the last thing Edm needs is another forward.
  3. To be honest I'm glad they haven't yet, I don't want us expending assets to get a guy we can pick up in the offseason for free. I love him to pieces but not enough to trade for him when he's a UFA
  4. Myers looked like he was the only D-man tonight, -4 but only the 6th goal was really his fault. Girgs should be on the PP, he's better and playing "Leino's hard to knock off puck" style than Leino himself.
  5. If anything I'd guess Moulson dislocated his shoulder based on his agony versus the actual hit/slash. Hopefully all they need to do is pop it back in an he'll be back. If he's injured past the deadline I have no doubt we'll sign him to at very least 1 or 2 year deal. (So he could be traded next year) Girgs snaps his pointless streak with 1g and 1a, that alone was worth the win against our nice tank.
  6. Yes, all yes. Especially if Ott is traded without him returning.
  7. However Grigo would be worth the most in theory to the only coach who've been successful with him and Ehrhoff may put them over the top. This all contingent on OReilly and the Avs still have hard feelings which is honestly the most important question.
  8. However he's a very good offensive defenseman, he's not supposed to be a team's #1 dman. #2 or 3 with top PP time is what he's great for
  9. Rather than giving a sarcastic reply give actual reasoning...... Ehrhoff can be a great d-man as we saw there. Grigo was a 1st rounder 2 years ago.... Neither are garbage
  10. That play just made me move Ehrhoff to a trade asset, there's bound to be a vet d-man we can sign in the offseason.
  11. Does NBC ever shut up about the Pens being gods......... Hell even when we were good they had a love affair with the Pens. Teddy with funny quote in interview
  12. Gold: USA, Miller gets revenge for 2010 Silver: Canada Bronze: Sweden, although Lundquist goes down in the 2nd, Enroth holds onto the 3 goal Swedish lead to take Bronze 4th: Russia, the stress of being the "home" team crushes many younger Russians and Ovi and Kovulchuk cause internal strife (Ovi tells Kovulchuck he's ruined many Russian players hopes in the NHL)
  13. Enroth is a bit more than a back up, although I understand your point. What if we sent them Halak after a Miller to St.Louis deal? What about: Enroth, Pysyk, Armia, Stafford, and 2 2nd rounders for Eberle, Hemesky and Gagner Essentially, the 1st 3 for Eberle and Stafford +2 seconds for the other 2. Gagner and Hemesky have both fallen out of favor after all.
  14. Here's my proposal: Edm receives: Buf 2nd rounder 2014, LA 2nd rounder 2014, Stafford, McNabb, Enroth Buf receives: Eberle, It may need some tweaking but I don't want to rid o Ehrhoff unless there's a vet D-man we can sign in the offseason. I also don'twant Myers crushed by the additional pressure placed on his shoulders.
  15. I disagree, I see him playing for Buffalo before he retires. Near the end of his career however and as more or less the extra vet on a cup contender.
  16. How about this idea? Miller to St. Louis for a 1st, Halak, and a prospect. Send Halak to Washington for Nevurith, Erat, and a pick (for taking the problems off their hands)
  17. So far this seems to be playing out. Although with less offensively gifted players, he's been generating more points as a 2nd line center.
  18. Based on that..... 2013-2014: Start horribly, draft 4th. 2014-2015: Start horribly, draft 1st. I'd be perfectly fine with that.
  19. Miller is an enigma for me, while I doubt he wants to be a Sabres player in the current situation; I believe he loves the city and its people. I'd offer him a contract and if he's unwilling to sign I'd trade him to the highest bidder in the West.
