He has one specific issue, health/availability.
He's a 1st line talent with Tim Connolly's reliability (Connolly in my opinion could of been a superstar with his skill, I don't see Norris being Connolly level)
Feels like 1 of 3 things happen for every loss
1. Team doesn't show up (Not the case today)
2. Opposing Goalie goes bonkers with saves and pucks refuse to give us any bounces (Certainly today)
3. We are completely outclassed (Not really today)
I should of stopped watching after that shot Ostland put through the crease somehow missed 3 legs and a stick because 2 of their goals were significantly aided by unlucky bounces (mind you the 1st one was also a bad play by Byram but the bounce was what screwed Lyon entirely) Just like the Pittsburgh game we had many good shots; drove the net and yet the puck outright refused to give us a break and just take a bounce for us.
I'm just really tired of all this; feels like nothing actually matters because no matter what we do it will always end up at the same result. We could field a team of All-Stars and we'd lose half to injury, a quarter to cold streaks and the rest would only see pucks bounce against them 100% of the time.
I really can’t come up with a good take
They played a rough grimy 40min giving up 1 goal on a bad giveaway
Then fight for 20min to tie only to lose it to a bad bounce, get back into it at 3-2 only to somehow have the puck not go in on 4 good chances and then magically stick with 3 separate Penguins as they moved it out for the ENG. we made contact with the puck all 3 passes and yet in never diverted at all.
It’s games like these that make me feel we’re cursed. Get only negative luck in a solid effort and lose as such. At very least we deserved a point
When theres luck, it will always be for the opposition.
We fight and claw to tie
They dump it in and have the puck bounce in behind UPL and score in large part due to that.
Now we have all but lost
