  1. Dahlin looked fine for the most part, if anything he seemed to start trying to lug the puck to much due to passing issues. Thompson was hit or miss most of the game. Good shifts, bad shifts; effort was there but he was constantly getting hooked and held by Kadri and never once got a power play from it. The 4th line looked motivated but Dunne is effectively a liability in any shooting or passing situation. Muel looked solid Trying to think if anyone else looked ok; Ellis the goalie wasnโ€™t bad. The back up sat on the bench well. The No Goal on Dahlin was a joke and seemed to scare Thompson from going net front the rest of the game. Not that I blame him honestly. The bad: Pretty much everything else including the Powerplay being limp Power, I have zero clue what to do with him. He puts up solid analytics most nights and looked great for the short time he had Kesselring but his net front defense is less effective than if you put a literal pylon out front. Byram, what happened to you tonight? Quinn is a glass blunderbus with a scope. Heโ€™s either making them or himself look bad, problem being it tends to be the latter Iโ€™d love to know why this team takes anyone lightly? Why would these players ever think they have any right to believe they are far superior to their opponent? Treat every ***** team like you did the Oilers and Panthers; that is what they all should look like to you!
  2. I give credit to a few players for effort but the general group seems disinterested
  3. Just embarrassing, play great against McDavid and Edmonton then just lay an egg against Calgary.
  4. 3 points: 1. He was pushed towards the crease and made every effort to escape 2. He entered the crease by a sliver, goalie instigated contact 3. Even if you donโ€™t agree with the first or second, the goalie has at least 2 seconds to reset before Dahlin shoots it. Itโ€™s nothing but a soft ticky tack call that apparently only Buffalo can be at fault for.
  5. They gaslight for the Sabres for their competence against fan sentiments. They almost always agree with the league on calls and yet we never get the same benefit from the league
  6. He was pushed towards the goalie from behind; youโ€™d have to be blind not to see that.
  7. Good for them, when do they ever disagree with the league
  8. Stick didnโ€™t make contact though, the 2 front angles showed as much
  9. He didnโ€™t skate on his own power though and mad full effort to avoid it.
  10. I canโ€™t recall a less interference Goalie interference. Tage gets shoved and tries to tight rope the crease due to it and the goalie shoves him
  11. Even so, win tonight and you finish the 1st quarter of the season with 20pts in 20 games. With all the issues, injuries and roster upheaval; thats at very least an ok start. Every 20 games you want 24 pts for a playoff pace. At 20 pts weโ€™d need to average about 25.3 pts a 20 game set. (The 2 remainders are gravy games) At the slightly higher number we still have a solid chance of achieving our goal. Effectively you need to flip 3 losses into 1 win and 2 OTLs.
  12. While I have zero interest in giving Adams any more time, I do feel ever so slightly bad for him in regards to Kesselring. Unlike Norris, Kesselring wasnโ€™t injury prone in the slightest.
  13. Pretty much If we win tomorrow as well as the Ducks beat Boston The Division will look like this DET 20 GP - 25pts BOS 22 GP - 24pts MTL 19 GP - 23pts TBL 19 GP - 22pts OTT 19 GP - 22pts FLA 19 GP - 21pts TOR 20 GP - 20pts BUF 20 GP - 20pts That is absurdly close
