This is the most excited I’ve been about a sabres game since April of 2011. I can just feel it in the air

If I can’t get home in time to watch the ceremony will I be able to listen on Audacy app on my phone or does the app not cover live games?

Why does nhl.com have this as leafs at Sabres?

I wonder if this will be the highest attended game of the season so far

It’s not the hurricanes fault that we had fluke injuries just like in football how people hate The titans. It wasn’t the titans idea to make the call on the field a backwards lateral

I’ve been a Sabres fan since the early 2000’s. I love the team but know that they won’t be making the playoffs. Now I know that it’s impossible to love 2 teams the same. However, i’ve lost interest completely in hockey this year. I’m not sure if it’s just the Sabres hopelessness mixed in with the long drought or the fact that the Bills season just ended and I’m in a funk. But I’m looking for a team to follow this year once the playoffs start. I love the sport but get depressed when I think about it. I have a few possible choices in mind 1. Rangers - they have Drury as their GM. Who doesn’t love Drury? 2. Panthers - Much respect for Joe Thornton. He has been playing forever and still no championship. 3. Golden Knights - I believe Jack Eichel wanted to stay in Buffalo but the team pushed him out the door. He’s a generational talent and I still like him. 4. Canes or Predators - I like the energy that the fans in the building have in the playoffs. Don’t know much about the players. 5. Whoever plays against Boston Does anyone else have suggestions?

Boy it’s too bad we traded away Eichel and Oreilly. Wake me up when Darcy’s “suffering” is over.

When I was 8 years old and didn’t know any better my first favorite team was the Dallas stars because I watched mike modano in the olympics for team USA. I may go back to them this year. year #10 of the rebuild is going to wear me out

So this is kind of irrelevant but didn’t want to start a new topic. With the Stanley cup playoffs/finals being on espn and no longer on nbc, will I be able to watch playoffs this year without some type of subscription to espn?

I would like to see us trade for some type of center man or a goalie at the trade deadline. That will keep my interest when they are the 28th team in the standings

Is there a way to watch these AHL games?

I live in Albany and it appears the only way to watch Sabres home games is by getting cable which has MSG. Is there another way for me? Even though I’m out of town this is still technically buffalo home market territory

Jack Eichel is the 2017 Sammy Watkins that was traded. All the potential in the world that could’ve helped the bills tremendously but not a fit on the team for many reasons

But wait! We are supposed to be the worst team!

Despite the horrible offseason I would love for the Sabres to be fighting for the 8th spot in February and be able to trade Eichel for some decent players. I want to root for this team to succeed so bad. This kind of reminds me of the Sean McDermott year 1 bills. I think they will sneak in

I think we could easily turn into the islanders. A gritty team with no superstars and occasionally getting a round or 2 into the playoffs

I would fall out of my chair with laughter if Eichel gets traded to a Canadian team. An American born kid from boston gets traded from Buffalo to go play up north far from home

How will I be able to listen to the expansion draft while at work ?

So how is the conference finals going to work with a canadiens team vs an American team? Is it now neutral site for all teams?
