To the Buffalo ***** Sabres, You have sucked and let us down continually in drastic ways for almost 13 years now. Start being good and stop sucking. The Bills Super Bowl hopes this year are dead so now myself and most of Buffalo is looking to you to lift our spirits. Make your pathetic selves useful and make a run, make the playoffs and make me a happy fan again. I’ve been a fan of yours for the past 20 years. If you don’t change your sub standard play and lackluster efforts I’m going to find a new team and it may be the Maple Leafs. Finish a damn check, hit more, shoot the puck instead of trying for fancy one timers, get someone in front of the net and use your God given talent and speed. Depressing. Won’t even watch

I will always be a Buffalo Sabres fan. When I try and watch other games I just get a bad taste in my mouth because I can’t help but think how lousy our team is/has been. I want to find a team out west like Edmonton or Colorado to watch because I like the entertainment aspect of the sport. Nashville seems fun too but they’re not great. I also want to watch Pittsburgh and Washington for nostalgia’s sake. As I get older I appreciate the older players (even though they were annoying when they were new). That being said, I just can’t bother to tune in to these games because I feel nothing. Help me. What is the answer?

I love hockey. My love for the Sabres is waning. I feel disengaged. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen them skate hard, hit hard and out shoot the other team. Bring back Lindy Ruff and bring back the tough as nails attitude. I think I’m checking out for a month. Maybe I’ll check box scores, maybe.

My New Year’s resolution was to eliminate stress by not turning on the games until 9:15. I will be doing that again tonight as Buffalo is 2-0 while I’ve done that. See you all later!

Disappointed when i saw that the sabres are playing again tomorrow. They still don't have any players with killer instinct. Players in the past with killer instinct: Vanek, Briere, Drury, Eichel.... I don't really get excited when any current sabres player has the puck on his stick.

Why do I watch? Why is the arena more than 75% full? What is wrong with us fans???

Okposo has stolen more money from the Sabres than anyone besides Ehrhoff. He never contributed even when we had Eichel, O”Reily and Kane. He should’ve left with that group

I’ve seen photos of the whole Buffalo Sabres team at Bills games (I think it was October 1st against Miami) I wonder what that does to players, coaches, upper management and even the owner to see High Mark stadium, 15 miles away, full, loud, and rocking with 90% bills fans and 10% dolphins fans in attendance. Don’t forget Buffalo also won like 48-21. Then you watch a Sabres game on a random Tuesday night and you see half of the seats are blue and empty. You dont even hear “let’s go buffalo” chants anymore. Back when we were consistently good for 5-6 years I’d be upset if I missed a period of a Sabres game on a Monday night. We used to call the Vanek-Roy-Stafford Sabres soft. They would kick this current teams ass 5-0

Curious to hear what players/coaches said during post game. Pretty sure this year was playoffs or bust. I don’t see them keeping Granato past end of January if this keeps up

If someone gave me season tickets in the best seats I’d decline
