They’re playing with our emotions. A team that hasn’t made the playoffs in the last 12 years just happened to miss the playoffs by 1 point last year to the team that made an improbable Stanley cup run. Then brought back essentially the same team and started off terrible, traded 3 players and are now choosing to be in the wild card race. Don’t we all know how this ends?

The Sabres will always put a dagger in our hearts. We will be tied 1-1 all the way into the third period. The canucks will score with 3 minutes left. You lose sleep and happiness and the Sabres lose 2 points

They play most of the teams ahead of them at least 1 more time

Game of the year. If the Sabres win Id say they’ll go on a roll. If they lose I can see them falling too far behind

We were spoiled with the best for so many years

Part of me is glad I won’t be watching these next four games. I can at least wake up and look at my phone and see the losses.

The Winnipeg Jets and the Golden Knights have been the same. Something about new expansion teams who have made the playoffs rubbing it in our face

One of the most memorable Sabres seasons was our last playoff season in 2011 where we spent the last 2 weeks racing to 7th place. Each game was a nail biter. Glad we are back there.

The good thing is we play the penguins, red wings, capitals and devils at least 1 more time. It may be grim but not as grim as we think

I watched the last 3 wins. I was really excited about this one. The last time I was this excited was the 10 game win streak. Then 12:30 rolled around and I decided to do some errands until about 3:00. I knew what was going to happen so I kept myself busy. Best decision I made all day

Maybe I’m just hockey ignorant, but why is it that the skaters can play all the games but goalies need breaks?

That’s right. I said finals. Not playoffs The Florida Panthers made it when they had to play the Bruins (most wins in a season.) The St. Louis Blues made it when they had the worst record in the NHL on January 1st. The 2021 Montreal Canadiens made it as the 18th seed. The Golden Knights made it as an expansion team. The Los Angeles Kings made it as an 8 seed. All of these teams beat the odds, the doubters and the naysayers when nobody gave them a chance. Why not us? There’s truth to all humor.
