  1. It's asinine, but I understand It's his (๐Ÿ’ฐ) team, so it's his to do as he pleases; even if his pleasure includes running the ship aground... While I doubt that his intentions are what's being presented on the ice (for the last 15+ years), his "product" combined with his public relations behavior, leaves a lot to be desired IMO I HATE that he's presented himself as being sooooooo TONEDEF, or pig-headed (or whatever TF he is, psychologically) to the carnage that is the Buffalo Sabres His tenure as owner has been an, almost (downtown's revitalization is a nice gesture) complete disaster, and his inaction comes off as him seeing NO problems. No reason to make sudden, and/or drastic changes. This franchise is approaching life support-status, and from the Pegula camp..... crickets ๐Ÿคฌ He doesn't allow himself to be held accountable for his decade plus of TERRIBLE decisions, and in not making himself available, he's saying (without saying) that he really couldn't give ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ about the public's perception, regarding his "leadership" of this franchise. He just throws his 'lil monkey boy Kevin at us, and that smug SOB's interactions prove to be nothing more than petrol on an already-brightly burning garbage fire!!! Palm ๐ŸŒด and taxes, you POS!!!! IDK? Maybe he does see the ๐Ÿ’ฉ for what it is and doesn't know exactly what/how to make the next move? In not actually saying ANYTHING, he is leaving us to imagine the worst! What's painfully clear, to everyone witnessing this tragedy, is that he's bitten off WAAAAAY more than he can chew, and his current trajectory, if SONETHING isn't done, and ASAP is the absolute ruination of a once proud franchise and fanbase!!! This isn't Phoenix, AZ or Atlanta, GA. This is a legit hockey market, complete with a decent history and the upper echelon of a fanbase! Terry Pegula bought into one of the easiest pro owner scenarios, IF he knew how to do his job. Yet, in spite of the scenario BEFORE he became owner, he has this team/franchise on the doorstep of death, and yet, from his mouth comes.... NOTHING???!!!! The inaction is just wild IMO
  2. at 1'53" they do a live skit ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  3. Oh, Real Men o' Genius ๐Ÿฅฐ My all-time FAVORITE ad campaign They have it all... Dead pan observations of "genius" behavior Overly dramatic background score, sets off the montage effect Dave Bickler on vox ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Peak moment; in the "Mr taco salad inventor, guy" skit, when he sings "ยกay caramba!" It's just a [chef's kiss] spit out whatever's in your mouth, if it's the first time you're hearing it, and you're unprepared, moment ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Additional jabs from the choir Truly, a quality project that made me actually enjoy a commercial
  4. ESPECIALLY the S&C coaches Might need a shaman in that role, in order to reverse whatever hex/curse/bad mojo that's been leveled onto the head of this franchise? They seem jinxed
  5. Depends (on the "playoff..." comment) Who's in goal?
  6. Norris? Who's that ๐Ÿ˜ Shades of that LA Clippers owner during their $hit years of the 1990s
  7. Lindy, stirring things up Jim Jones style โ˜ ๏ธ
  8. ..... and just like that!!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  9. Lindy showing signs of dementia
  10. Like, even though they lose, they hung tough so... moral victory? Or, you're getting the vibes and an actual win is in the bin???
  11. ANYONE but UPL๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ
  12. He's Danny Glover's character from Lethal Weapon Too old for this ๐Ÿ’ฉ
  13. They don't [insert, effective hockey play terminology]..... The lil bit of glow that was on the '25-'26 brass is starting to tarnish
  14. Well, I guess I won't be sacrificing TOO much sleep ๐Ÿคฌ Thanks, Buffalo Sabres for that... Ya BUMS!!!!
  15. I'm not responsible for ANY incisions/decisions r/t actual interventions I just make sure the gear is available/safe/functioning, the patient gets on said apparatus, accurately/safely/timely, and that aseptic tech is on point for all staff, minus the surgeon Nothing to fear....
  16. JJ scoring just means we get to be extra bitter when Doan gets robbed Because, Buffalo.... Full disclosure: I really like Doan's game
  17. Ya I'm running a BIG ortho day tomorrow. Two, massive rotator cuff tears, and two labrum tears, PLUS an ACL repair (flipping from lateral, to sitting, to lateral, to sitting, to a knee arthroscopy = a LOT of setting up) while "teaching" a 25-year circulator (who I'd be MUCH faster doing the whole room, by myself) the fine points of assembling/setting up a beach chair patient positioner (who, I've shown over the last 13 years the technique MORE than enough times that they should be, at the very least, proficient at). Hopefully, our boys will make the exhaustion worth it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  18. I keep reminding myself that these are just the frigging 'Yotes dressed up in Temu edition TB Lightening gear ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  19. Mass brain rot = stupid decisions in ALL aspects of life It's just a tad more "interesting" when involving one ton death machines I'm cut off by at least one, failure to yield, maneuver every GD day!!! People = $hit, to quote Slipknot
  20. Luck be a lady tonight (so far)
  21. Your sacrifice doesn't go unnoticed Salute!
  22. Something interesting to follow, for sure
  23. 100% (on the "force him to..." statement) If there is ONE guy I don't mind an overpay on, I gotta go with Tuch (with acknowledgement of mgmt's history of handing out the occasional bad contract, and poor roster constructicon. I wouldn't consider Tuch's future contract a bad decision). He's, literally, one of us, he's talented, AND plays with passion. In an ideal scenario, Tuch is leading any future playoff run. I also understand that reality and "ideally" aren't always the best roommates... This franchise hurts my heart at times...
