    I was "Meh" on Myers again. There was a play where Moulson absolutely teed it up for him and the big guy should've put it through the net from the prime slot. Instead the goalie makes the save. I'm frustrated by Myers. I see the hits and the breakaway pass to Gionta but too often, he has no aim from the point and dumps it in the O-zone and literally gives the puck away. I know he's big and you have to give him a chance to grow into his body but I really don't see much hockey instinct there.

    Myers looked like the very picture of a goat last night against 5'10 Jaden Schwartz. Now why would any team, especially one as smart as the Red Wings, want to trade a prize prospect who tore up the QMHL for a fragile minded non-entity 6'8 gentle giant who rates about a 9 with the hockey IQ?

    I think a major reason the Sabres are so bad these last two years is that it's not that each player is bad, it's that their teammate next to them is either not better than them or even worse. I play hockey and admit, I can be pretty bad. But when I have teammates who can skate, shoot, pass the puck, I become better. The Sabres have nobody with any skills that stand out, nobody who makes their teammates better. So they can't work together because none of them make any of them any better. Get it?
