When you look at the Kane-Bogosian/Stafford-Myers trade right now, I see Kane and Bogosian both out injured and still doing better than Stafford-Myers.

If Reinhart intends to camp out, fine. But he better watch himself. Ask Pat Lafontaine, Thomas Vanek and others who made a designated living camping out. A broken jaw from errant shots is part of the stock and trade and if that was me, I'd be wearing a different kind of mask, kind of like an offensive lineman. To me it's common sense; it's the fastest game on earth. The bare-faced guys who insist on it, well they can have it. Better a cage than a broken jaw or worse.

I haven't been aware of the big controversy surrounding naming the freeking post. I don't think it's a big deal but that's me. I would've liked to see more comments on Tyler Ennis here but I guess having controversy, however manufactured, is the main thing.

Watkins should not put down the "little people" of Buffalo. These are the people who pay his salary. He makes a lot of $ and is great at what he does, when healthy, but verbally he doesn't seem too bright. He should keep quiet. Nothing memorable on Twitter is ever positive. The Twitter posts that get highlighted in the news are overwhelmingly negative, which is more sensational and gets more readers. This is a force that helps bring American society down. My opinion: Watkins wants out.

I was looking at the replay of Ennis' goal last night where he was behind the net, turned, fell, twisted and at the end swept it into the net behind the shocked goaltender. I watched it a few times and it occurred to me, Ennis might have been working on that move, as well as others that look like random falls and tumbles, which seem to be part of his game. It might be an overlooked play of the year so far. How many goalies have we had in the last year or two? Ten? Buffalo has always had very good goaltending because we have needed it. But it seems GMTM can't pick a good starting goalie if he fell on top of him out of the sky.

I see Young Samson pairing with Kane, not Ike. Kane needs a pure set-up man and Sam might be the best on the team.

I've come to the conclusion that Buffalo, who has never over a period of 50 years fielded even one major league championship in the NFL or NHL, is just bad at sports.
