Lomberg in tonight. You know he'll run a few Oilers. -
2024 Stanley Cup Final - Edmonton vs Florida

I won't repeat the good points already made here about game 1. I will add, that when Knobloch loaded up the first the in the 3rd with McDavid, Leon, and Hyman, the Barkov line kept them in their own zone for a few shifts. Florida didn't play their best and still won. -
I love Florida. They're big, fast, talented, mean, and when they hit it hurts. Basically, everything the Sabres aren’t now.
-
Absolutely. Always had the intelligence to pick apart the opposition line he was matched up with in a series. I remember him saying it became easier when you face the same players every other night. Conn Smythe winner for a reason.

3rd OT in 4 games. What a series so far. Living up to its billing. Either Florida presses with the forecheck and traffic and bangs one home, or an odd man Rangers rush ends it. No matter what happens, this has been really fun tonight.

Okposo did not play that well. I'd be surprised if he's in next game.
-
He really is but this we already know. Traffic in front is everything against him. Even then, odds are he'll make the save. Fun game so far.
-
Okposo and Lorentz in, Lomberg and Cousins out. Interesting choices by Maurice. I guess we'll see.

Unreal. I give up. Good luck Lindy. I'm speechless. So much for an exhaustive search. This organization...

I can't believe how bad this broadcast is. "Bucci" is not good. Production too.

Hamilton is a clown. He talks tough until he's face to face with someone. How no one followed up on the no playoffs question is beyond me. -
Kevyn and Don, should we really expect more after four years?

Well, when you put it that way... Good Lord. This is just the tip of the iceberg from an out of town 35,000 foot perspective. As we all know, it's this bad and worse considering the current direction the organization is heading. Like most of you, I'm hoping for major changes in the upcoming months that won't happen. It really seems like there is no end in sight. At least the playoffs will be fun to watch. -

Couldn't agree more. Dunleavy is brutal and Ray isn't much better. Production is bad as it ever was too. -
Excellent character actor. Fantastic in Pope of Greenwich Village.

Skinner completes hatty with bar ⬇️ snipe 🧢 https://www.thescore.com/s/26735912 Pathetic when the other broadcast captures the moment better than ours. -

Dunleavy didn't even make a hat trick call for Skinner. It took Ray to mention it lol. He's so brutal. -
If you're on Spectrum like me, they won't upgrade CBC to HD because of cost. It sucks because the broadcasts are great. That being said, I still watched Colorado/Edmonton in SD last night. Great uptempo game. That would be a fun series.

KA has done what I thought was impossible. He's made this team even easier to play against.

I gave Dan a chance because it's unfair to judge him after having one of the greatest of all-time for 40 years. He just gets worse. Even RJ, at the end when he was slipping, was a stratosphere above Dan on his best day. I would hope the are actively searching for a replacement because it's that bad but in reality he fits in perfect with the mediocre production values we see every broadcast.
