As to the olympics I would hope Jack could play. I can’t see a team trying to keep him out. It may happen as a result of this medical disagreement but thats a result of the disagreement not the aim of the Sabres.

Oh the humanity ! Its not them its us. Its not that they were good, our guys simply didn’t show up. Its not like they outplayed us, we took them too lightly. How on earth could we lose to that completely terrible and retchid franchise ? some of the shite i swear i heard on Vancouver sport radio today. That and fans calling for the coach , the g.m. And the stick boy to be fired because gasp...we lost to the worst group of hockey players in the universe. Completely over the top over reaction. I loved every minute of it. Well except the part where they call themselves the best fans in hockey. That was a bit much.

He left the game for awhile in the first but I didn’t see what happened. When he returned he had what looked like a cut near his mouth.

You don’t have to reach into the football bag to find character or team character, team building philosophies etc. Teams have been doing it in the NHL for a century. Team building in the NHL isn’t lacking in any way. The Pegulas ability to see it and emulate the various models of how to do it has.
