You don’t have to reach into the football bag to find character or team character, team building philosophies etc. Teams have been doing it in the NHL for a century. Team building in the NHL isn’t lacking in any way. The Pegulas ability to see it and emulate the various models of how to do it has.

Not saying he does peruse Sabrespace but Mike Harringtons latest in the Buffalo News sounds oddly familiar. I realize others can have original thought independent of Sabrespace but just sayin...lol

One thing I’ve learned in life is if you are in a vulnerable spot people love to kick you when you are down. The Sabres are probably at the lowest they have been in their history in regards to fan perception and guys like Robin and the media are just the types to kick you in the face when you least expect it. Anyone can throw a sucker punch. We’ll likely see a lot more of this crap before this ever gets turned around.
