If either of these players is leaning to other teams figure it out fast and work out a deal to get back max value for said player. In the future maybe don’t go so heavy in the draft on players that ultimately have more control over their own destination than you do. I’m sure Adams will figure it out. Also fixing this teams reputation will have players tripping over themselves to be here.

My bro will no doubt shed a tear for MB. I grew up a Sabres fan while he grew up an Islanders fan. He got a fistfull of cups for his fandom but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t appreciate that team. Bossy was a large part of that. RIP.

Just listened to a leafs pundit/fanboi who opened with “ you just knew on a tuesday night against the Buffalo Sabres that the leafs wouldn’t show up.” He ranted about how hard it is to get up for teams like Buffalo etc. Without ever mentioning how well they’ve been playing or their style of play etc. Effectively taking any credit for a good game/effort away from the Sabres.

Love that dogged determination from Asplund for that empty netter. Kid is turning into a heck of a hockey player. power fit right in. Makes it look effortless. Can’t wait til he has a few more practices under his belt.

I look at the disparity in the payrolls of the two teams and the bad feels I get from a loss like this kind of goes away considering we are pushing these teams that are hard against the cap despite the fact we are a low budget team.

Wow. Great game. Proud of this team and what they are manifesting and becoming before our eyes. The growth of this team this year has been downright amazing. Happy for RJ. Happy for meatballs. I think he has changed a lot of peoples perceptions on his abilities to coach in this league. Proud of the people of Buffalo who came out in support of RJ and the Sabres. The future looks bright.

Is Portillo Swedish ? If so get the Swedish mafia on the Sabres to have a heart to heart with him if you know what I mean.
