Not sure if anyone noticed but our guys seem to be having fun. The smiling and joking on the bench whether we’re ahead or behind. Now have a look at the bench of our opponents. Its serious and determined to a man while the game is being played. Maybe this belongs in the winning matters thread but its something I’ve picked up watching our games. These guys should be competitive enough that they absolutely hate losing. I’m not sure they do.

Imagine the development they’d get from a round or two of the playoffs. KAs all wet. The franchise, the players, the staff, the city, and the fans are all jonesing for the playoffs. It would be immeasurable in terms of development to get there early as opposed to a hard line in the sand at some arbitrary point in the future inside KAs head.

Well what can you say about Tage T ? Another incredible game. Without his contribution we very well could have lost that game. I’ve been moaning about Krebbs but his goal was a beauty. Loved the way he hounded that puck. Good job young man. wasn’t much to like about our 3rd period. Would of liked to see a continuation of the scoring but alas there was another somewhat determined club on the ice as well.

Great game. That kid line is money. The Dahlin hit was most excellent. Closing out the game without blowing the lead was bodacious. Overall a rad experience.

Agree on the shooting lanes and Krebbs in particular. He gets the puck and in most cases it looks like he’s playing hot potato and immediately looks to pass it. Shoot the friggin puck .

Didn’t hear Krebs name till his penalty in the 3rd. Mind you I missed the 1st. Invisible.

They spent a good portion of the 3rd killing penalties including a 5 on 3. Thats likely the disarray you saw.

A lot to like despite the loss. Loved Dahlins hit on Tatar. Power plays like a seasoned vet with so much patience under pressure. Anderson made some incredible saves and baled them out numerous times. I like Josts jam but pretty sure this guy will never be much of a goal scorer. The lack of offence in the first pretty much sunk them but they looked good in the second and third. On Jerseys side Ruff has these guys playing an exciting brand of hockey. My first game seeing the Devils and I’m impressed.

It is a good place to gain confidence. Which is king for a developing player. Not sure analytics covers that.

Ten shots in 17 games. The kid is invisible and regularly gets muscled off the puck. But he has great vision ? I’ve got great vision but it doesn’t get me a seat at the table because I’m bad at every other skillset, much like him. He needs a full season in the AHL. Maybe a look see near seasons end. Confidence goes a long way.
