This team. Omg. The Winnipeg color guy said multiple times that the Sabres just weren’t very good defensively even as they controlled play in the Jets zone for large parts of the game. Pretty much dominated with the Jets shot count hovering around 11 for most of the 2nd and into the 3rd. That was a statement game imo and this team just put the league on notice. I was entertained. The boys were a bit keystone cop in that first. Overcame that and played a terrific game the rest of the way. Nice to see Power get one there. I think I’ve got more enjoyment out of this team this first half of the season than I have for the last decade. TYSabres.
